nvm, just replaced my extractor this morning at shop nearby my place..an old-timer shop. didnt put high expectation coz he didnt believe in any 'branded' thingy: r3, wegow,whatever...
got 4-2-1, 2pcs set..just in-case wanna change setup to 4-1, easy a bit..
brand? homegrown..RAMSPEED. sound cap ayam to me...but nvm.

so, drove back home..notice la improvement since the catcon oredi gone. at 2.7k rpm pickup oredi there for you (prev at 3.7k rpm). only 1 sound bothering me, the empty can sound from the stock midbox..i suppose due high gas flow into the stock midbox..and that would be my next to-do list...

top end not yet test..wanna wait awhile...
fc to monitor further...

Added on December 5, 2009, 10:45 pmdont buy from sc. they dont keep stock of such spare. they gonna order from proton part centre first, then u pay their runner and their margin..it gonna be 4x the the actual price exclude instln.
if u dont mind, buy from proton part centre in glenmarie first, then take to sc to install.

hazril: the shop i went yesterday oredi pre-installed with marco bullet..but weird, his setup is parallel twin mid bullet: 1 short bullet 7" with blank end, another one normal bullet 15" connected to 2" piping to the rear end. all MARCO melaka mari...

since i havent seen that kinda setup, so i didnt dare to take. need u guys confirmation first..btw, he said that setup done one 1 group of 30c cars from gen2club.. :

actually u did any mod on ur stock exhaust all can improve especially once u get rid of the catcon...

its just that my recommendation is based on 3 years playing with campro...everyday drive it...feel the power etc...

for ur information, r3 full exhaust setup consist of 4-2-1, a double midbox and a straight flow...smaller piping diamter equal to gen2 1.3 which is 1.6"...the double midbox setup caused my top end to lose...my pickup also worse...my step by step of exhaust setup is as below:

1. R3 full exhaust setup (4-2-1, doublemidbox, r3 straight flow...)
- pickup ok la...top oni get 195n max 200 oni...
2. R3 4-2-1, matola bullet, r3 straight flow
- pickup improve...top easily get 200 but ends at 210 oni...
3. r3 4-2-1, matola bullet, everco s-flow
- pickup lose a bit but top reach 220km/h
4. r3 4-2-1, 3ft long bullet, everco s-flow
- pickup improve, top easily get 220km/h...

like i told u whatever mods u do on ur exhaust system, there will be a significant improvement but how much is the improvement is what we seek la...each setup i do above i use it for at least a month until i fully know the performance of it and decided to improve bit by bit...

BUTwhy did i recommend wegow 4-2-1? this is because the diameter of the piping is bigger compared to r3...for r3 header ur low end will be smoother n starts gain power earlier but for wegow it starts a bit later but the high end power is better...and if u're thinking of doing a PnP for ur head later on, wegow can withstand the higher exhaust flow whilst for r3 header, ur header will make a loud noise...my most recent setup consist of wegow 4-2-1, 3ft long bullet and everco s-flow...i cant really comment on this setup because i've used mivec gb now so obviously my car pickup is far better than previous la...

i'm not promoting without any solid fact to back up my advice...plus its only 780 complete with piping...tell me how much a complete exhaust setup inclusive of piping would cost in central area? toll for return trip around 30...fuel around 50...mostly will follow hiway so better fc la...

and when did i turn anyone down? just to let everyone know la...i didnt have internet access 24/7...oni when i'm at office or when i have my wife punya broadband oni i can access to internet...but celcom broadband nowadays cant login to lyn...so if i didt reply to any pm etc kindly sms/call me...sometime i dont have credit oso lor...

everco s-flow muffler is a quiet type...

based on my experience u still wanna go for full r3?

not more than RM20-RM25...call the service center confirm stock availability oni u come...the part price around belas2 oni...

its a RANSPEED not RAMSPEED...its not a cap ayam...still a good brand for older generation of mod kakis...

the empty can sound is normal...after few months(depending on how far u drive a day) once the carbon has built up inside it will be not so loud...

no la bro, ur mistaken. rembr i from SG? i heard from my fren cousin say R3 under approved manufacturer, might be possible to get it legalised in SG. cap ayam headers don have the certification which R3 has, which i need to submit for approval so that when stop by TP i can show them the approval cert.

if i have a choice, WEGOW + 3" + s-flow for sure

or hey...hotbits oso have full exhaust setup...i wouldsnt really recommend it but its worth a try la XD
