gen2 1.6 mt should use 4-1 or 4-2-1? shop nearby my house (sek u5 s.alam) recommend the 4-1 (marco) and bullet (2ft long - got swirl at the end)...2 item cost rm480 incl instl...shud i go or no go?

1. Large Snorkel increase ur pickup abit - RM80(PM me if u want it...can DIY)
2. Drop In Air Filter (K&N or Pipercross) paired with Large Snorkel further improve ur pickup - RM220-RM260
3. Extractor/Header (R3, Hotbits, Powerzone, Wegow) drastically improve ur pickup as it removes the catalytic converter - RM300 for R3 header...installation not included...can PM me oso...
4. Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) improve ur pickup and response (RECOMMENDED) - RM480 if do at my pomen's place in Seremban...other place in kl oso got but some members regret because no difference at all felt once install...still come to seremban...
5. Everco S-Flow Rear Muffler to get better top end - RM250 in Everco Sunway...if he said RM270 just insist on 250...they'll gave up eventually…
6. Midbox/Bullet depends on ur preference...midbox give better top end...bullet better pickup - RM100-RM200 depends on the brand...
7. Adjustable CamPulley - RM360 for item only...installation + tuning around 250 depends on the place u do it...
8. Lightened Crank Pulley - RM550++ for Mythelogy with Dampener and RM300+ for ayam brand without the dampener
9. Spark Plug Cable - RM200-RM700 depends on brand...expensive doesnt mean good...
10. Denso Iridium IT20/IT22 Spark Plug - RM160-RM180 depend on place u bought it...There's also Volker Iridium or NGK Iridium but Denso is the best so far...
11. Racing clutch - RM1000+ with installation
12. PnP - RM1000+ depends on the place and the 'stage' ure looking at...
13. Rebore the head with bigger piston - RM1000-RM2000+- depends on the place u do it and the stage ure looking at
14. Hi-Cam - RM2000+- with installation depends on brand an place u do it...
15. Final Drive (play with ur gearbox ratio) - RM2000+- with installation depends on brand an place u do it...
16. Still not satisfied? Change to MIVEC Gearbox with better overall ratio
17. Craving for more? Money is not a restriction to u? Convert to MIVEC or GSR...spare around RM20,000 for it...

i'm squeezing my schedule to get my gen2 exhaust job from kent this weekend...wondering what should i do with the stock extractor....

aiyaok..how come cap ayam? read feedback from his customer mostly satisfied.

if wegow header+custom 3ft long bullet only..how2? maintain stock muffler (nk senyap) and maintain stock piping.
$$$ n performance wise? bullet is swirling type?

i know where bachang baru is..i oso melaka fella. got plenty relative over there, just cudnt shoot there any near future..always werk werk werk..

nvm, just replaced my extractor this morning at shop nearby my place..an old-timer shop. didnt put high expectation coz he didnt believe in any 'branded' thingy: r3, wegow,whatever...
got 4-2-1, 2pcs set..just in-case wanna change setup to 4-1, easy a bit..
brand? homegrown..RAMSPEED. sound cap ayam to me...but nvm.

so, drove back home..notice la improvement since the catcon oredi gone. at 2.7k rpm pickup oredi there for you (prev at 3.7k rpm). only 1 sound bothering me, the empty can sound from the stock midbox..i suppose due high gas flow into the stock midbox..and that would be my next to-do list...

top end not yet test..wanna wait awhile...
fc to monitor further...

Added on December 5, 2009, 10:45 pmdont buy from sc. they dont keep stock of such spare. they gonna order from proton part centre first, then u pay their runner and their margin..it gonna be 4x the the actual price exclude instln.
if u dont mind, buy from proton part centre in glenmarie first, then take to sc to install.

hazril: the shop i went yesterday oredi pre-installed with marco bullet..but weird, his setup is parallel twin mid bullet: 1 short bullet 7" with blank end, another one normal bullet 15" connected to 2" piping to the rear end. all MARCO melaka mari...

since i havent seen that kinda setup, so i didnt dare to take. need u guys confirmation first..btw, he said that setup done one 1 group of 30c cars from gen2club.. :

i ran off to bkt jalil today to get my front disc rotor changed. since for the pass 3years i didnt pamper my car, i decided to put in the slotted/cross-drilled rotor to freshen up the look and braking efficiency..
the car not that fast laa but since late braking during festive season trip back to kampung is kinda heart-stopping moments for everyone in the car..better i take this thing upgraded first before any engine mods. rite?
why bkt jalil? coz too much hassle to go to sunway n too many choices to pick...n i dunno where to start n dun want spending 2 hrs just hopping around to get good deal...

dulu stock gaban, fc: 6.5L/100km (cruise hiway), 7.7L/100km (town)
skang, hanye sejibik header, fc: 6.8L/100km (cruise hiway), 7.0L/100km (town)

mixed feeling lah ....

tu la pasal. bini aku xtau aku tukau extractor nh.dulu naik keta senyap jek..nih dh ader bunyi tin kosong..mau terperangkap aku nih..kne gak taruk bullet cam nh..s-flow mahal sgt la pulak..postpone dulu.

tang fc tuh, kaki aku masih ringan lagi aa..dok hari2 sebat subang-klia..boring dah nak tekan2 nh..layan blues kt fast lane..tgu keta mantap beam br kasi laluan..

air filter nak kne cari yg drop in gak laa..smalam baru amik snorkel ngan jenal, xkan nak cabut. kan? kan?

i guess any accessory shop got the aux cable..but the installation a bit complicated. u got to remove the radio n done the aux wiring..that part if u dunno the shop very well, u might got marked up for instaln.

this crank pulley is the one at the bottom rite? i keep confusing with cam pulley...
