try mixing the whiskas with RC? at least better than just whiskas. otherwise try finding another brand that they like and selling the RC off.

my cats are on ANF now and they love it thumbup.gif

starve him the night before the surgery. no food/water for 12 hours cz he might vomit/pee after anesthesia.
and don't worry so much la...my cats didn't hate me after that. I don't think they even noticed anything XD

hi everyone,

i just wanna ask, which 1 is better for cat food

science diet or blackwood?
*
well the most important thing is the ingredients, especially the first ingredient (which is the highest amount in the food)

Science Diet® Adult Optimal Care™ Original (first ingredient - chicken by-product)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Blackwood Adult Cat Chicken Meal & Corn Recipe (first ingredient - chicken)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

chicken is better than the by-product, which is the leftovers that humans won't eat (head, feet, organs, dead/diseased chickens)
so I'd say Blackwood is better.

there are Daiso outlets at The Curve and 1Utama (got shuttle busses from kelana jaya lrt)

Anyone knows where I can get BARF food for my cats??

personally, I'd recommend the raw meaty bones (RMB) diet over BARF

Dear all, I'm not sure is this topic has been discuss or not. I realise female cats roll on the ground right after mating. Why is that so? It surprised me. I'd like to have my kitty spayed, will that hurt? My girl is not even 1 year yet. Any kind opinion will be appreciated. Thank you very much biggrin.gif
*
female cats can be spayed at 6 months of age
it's better if you spay, cz
1. no surprise litter of kittens. you might like it the first or second time, but after that you'd find it difficult to get them adopted
2. male cats won't visit your house
3. less health problems. I worked at a vet clinic before and there were 2 female cats that developed breast cancer. It wouldn't have happened if they were spayed before that. Going on heat can also be stressful to some cats so spaying will stop that.

Spaying won't hurt the cat. She'll be asleep the whole time, and cats recover really fast from the surgery.
where is your location? some members can suggest a good vet nearby

----

btw, does anyone need a can of Science Diet a/d? only a small amount was used.
I took in a sick kitten but it died, and my own cats are perfectly healthy so I don't need it.

hmm. my cats keep on having diarrhea everyday. need to clean them every morning. is this because of the vaccine shot? or too many food given?
*
maybe they ate something that made them sick. happened to my cat before, he recovered after a few days

QUOTE(CrippleCat @ Sep 24 2011, 12:54 PM)
Hi all smile.gif

I'm taking care of a handicapped cat right now. She was a stray cat and she's been hit by a motorcycle a few weeks back, which caused both rear legs to paralyze. So we brought her to the vet and after she's been X-rayed, we found out that there was no fracture, but she's unable to move her legs due to the problem with the nerve. So we brought her home and took care of her since. She's now very active and happy and healthy, only that she has to walk/run with front legs, while her rear legs are, like, "terseret". tongue.gif

But due to her condition, she couldn't pee and defecate like normal cats (to stand and do the bussiness tongue.gif). So me as the owner have to be alert to when she's done, because I need to wash her butt and legs. This happens everyday, and I feel pity for her (she keeps on screaming everytime because cats don't like water right). And sometimes when I am not aware of her and she peed somewhere, and then she'd walk around with the wet on his fur on the floor around the house, which could be a little tiring for me to mop (but I don't blame her for that).

So does anyone here know any kind of... I don't know, anything that could help her with peeing and pooping? Is there any special litter box that is designed for a handicapped cat or something? Because normal litter box is a little too hard for her to climb in.

All opinions/suggestions are very much appreciated smile.gif
*
it's great that you take such good care of her biggrin.gif
try looking for diapers specially made for cats/dogs, just google 'cat diapers'
