Means that you have been (highly likely) paying SCB promptly in the last 12 months. You should know this yourself.
*
yes, i made full payment before due date every month on all my cards

but for SCB, that can't translate to 13.5%, as i held their cc back in 2003 and terminated in 2004 and the three cards i have now just 3 and 2 months old

i thought when you apply for new cc, it will reset back - until you've made 12 continuous prompt payment

my guess is..

CRM database = Existing customer
Credit Card Database = No Late Payment in Last 12 months

Bam! You get 13.5% for a 3 month old card
*
hehe, no late payment in last 12 months including the 9 months with no cc, really champion thumbup.gif
maybe you're rite, the system is set to detect like that

well, not a concern to me anyway, just a little surprise

You've received your 1st month statement? Or you viewed the RM50 early bird incentive online?
Its freebies should be better than MBB, I think. I remember CIMB gave travel luggage to new Plat customers last time.
*
I can view it fro my online statement, rebate given out on 30/06
my first statement is dated 10/06/09

I tried to use SCB online banking to make payment for IWK, MBSA and MBSJ, in order to enjoy 5% rebate on Friday. However, all the transactions couldn't go through. I called SCB CS, the CS staff informed that SCB online banking only works before 8pm, Malaysian local time. So inefficient!  rclxub.gif
*
you can set future bill payment for friday icon_rolleyes.gif
i normally do this when I get my bill, set it to pay on the following friday

I just want to rebate from my petrol only..because I'm not using CC often.. biggrin.gif
What Amex give you?
petronas and shell is the best for me..my area got a lot of petronas and shell..
btw, what card is that? 5%? that is a lot compare to other CCs..
*
SCB JustOne, 2% on normal day, 5% every Friday, rebates up to max of RM600/yr
for petronas, esso & mobil, can us at the pump, for the rest need to go to the counter and swipe

the only bad point is at most of the place, need to teach the cashier to press Enter or Select to select the Cr feature doh.gif

I think so too. Repeatedly I asked the same question directly @ the bank and a few CS - the answer is no. The (perhaps) good news is that they told me that the account can be kept to RM0 balance without getting penalised as per a normal account.

Well ... just have to keep on teaching CS on to select the "CR" function on the machine.
*
hehe, no need to, as winner mentioned, just stick a sticker on the card - "Select Credit/Cr" icon_rolleyes.gif
it works in china, they din ask me thumbup.gif

tinkerbel,
I would like to know whether we can merge all the TP from saving account, visa (terminated earlier but still got 1000+ TP balance) and amex (maybankard) together in this TP fair for redemption?
*
as long as you have an account that can accumulate TP, existing TP from cancelled cards will be transfered to it
I've cancelled my MBB Flex and the TP was automatically transfered to my MBB Petronas in the next statement

yes, all TP can be combine for redemption

But I talked to a banker at Maybank CC Centre at Menara Maybank. They said can be transferred to another existing card. They also said that the TP is in a large sum of basket and doesn't matter where the points are tied to.

This is so contradicting to what I got from Maybank CS (via phone). They also affirmed me that if Maybank CS cannot transfer the points; they asked me to go back to them (banker at CC centre) to perform it manually.

I'm so confused with this now.
*
just wait for your next cc statement to chk or even online, it will be transfered automatically provided you have another cc/account that can accumulate TP
