First can you define "ady", what does it stand for and where it comes from ?? or is that off topic too ?
second im still talking about the screen in my post, dude! smile.gif

The picture I quoted was shown only casing, no LCD at all. Anyway, you're trying to share something with us. If anyone buy this monitor, pls leave some comment !

I guess P2370 over your budget ady, left only AOC & Dell. I'm recommend 2434pw, you won't regret if you buy it !

@BulletsStorm
The monitor looks like a recolored X-series to me, design wise it's more or less alike. Doesn't cut it for me though laugh.gif Prefer the looks of their P-series and H-series...

@Faint
Here are the "bleeding" pics I took, AOC 2434Pw aka Angelo vs my 19" Dell. I was surprised how the results came out as I initially thought my Dell has more "bleeding" when observed with the naked eye sweat.gif Shots at night were taken with my digicam's "Night" scene mode, and daylight shots taken using "Auto".

Day
AOC 2434Pw @ 50% Brightness | Dell @50% Brightness
Attached Image Attached Image
AOC 2423Pw @ 100% Brightness | Dell @ 100% Brightness
Attached Image Attached Image

Night
AOC 2434Pw @ 50% Brightness | Dell @50% Brightness
Attached Image Attached Image
AOC 2434Pw @ 100% Brightness | Dell @ 100% Brightness
Attached Image Attached Image

The AOC is brighter then the Dell, so I guess its one of the reasons why "bleeding" is more visible. But thankfully for typical use, it is not noticable... It's not like you actually look at a totally black screen most of the time tongue.gif

i got the P2370 today.happy with it.colour nice and sharp.
at the beginning planning to get a lcdtv, but once i get this lcd just realize its really big.
but that are few thing i need to complain tongue.gif
1. they didt cover the screen very well in the box.just one piece of polyster to cover the whole body and screen only
and some plastic cover stick on side frame.
2.the adjustment of the screen angle(up and down) seem like not tight enough.
conclusion: too expensive, thin, light weight, spec so so only, touch sensor very sexy like my lycosa kb,no dead pixel so far,
during gaming abit tired to roll my eyes left and right, for internet good cos can scroll less.

hey guys, I need some reco too.

Samsung 2343bwx
& AOC 2434Pw, which one should I take? budget -RM730

or reco me some other good display around that size and price..

AOC: 0.6" bigger, better design, with HDMI <-- but I don't really need HDMI.

Samsung: 2048 x 1152 reso, I'm in love with the high reso. I'm using a decent graphic card so I don't need to worry about the reso, I don't play high-end games anyway.

as you can see, I'm more on Samsung's sides but I haven't found any good reviews about both displays.

so, help me please <3. Urgent icon_question.gif

I have no chance to test any AOC monitor at Ipoh so I can't give any comment on AOC monitor except 2434pw. If you looking for 22" monitor with 1080 resolution, I suggest you forget about it. 1080 in 22" monitor all the object in monitor will become small, it will made you get tire easily & uncomfortable.
If can, go to nearest computer shop and test both of this monitor !

That means everything in the movie would be scaled down?

Does that means in order to enjoy full HD, we muz at least go for minimum 23" monitors ?

I'm using 2494 HS here. Like all 24" HD monitors, they're actually 23.6"

Let's seee... graphics are marvelous.. no visible annoyance etc.

Text is a bit small compared to 1024x768 on a 17" lcd (be glad that it isn't as small as 22" HD).

Meh I'll just summarize

PROS: great size, graphics, MagicBright (allows you to change brightness+ colours with presetted settings)

CONS: Really annoying LCD buttons. They're touch sensitive but that's not the point here. You CANT SEE WHERE IT IS CUZ THERE'S NO LIGHT(put a few LEDs or something, samsung!)!! sigh. So most of the time I just feel it and remember the touch sensitive spots.

16:10 ratios are dying, good luck finding them. There's benQ G2400W/WD on lowyat, start hoping there's stock. There's also the Samsung 2433BW.

......
To correct you a little ... a typical 17" is 1280x1024 with a dot pitch of 0.264mm .... The Samsung has a dot pitch of 0.2767mm... So at native pixel, text will look slightly bigger on the Samsung...

16:10 is not dying, high end, professional and ultra class still keeping to the ratio.... it is just the (more inferior)TN panels gaining popularity
