AOC Angelo 2434pw was height adjustable, and I just made an order of this monitor. In Ipoh, i only found AOC monitor in SNS.

aoc can adjust height,angle and da best part is can turn -175/175

I dont like LCD tv. For TVs I only buy plasma. But price drop for LCD is good, very soon I can put a HDTV for rough use in front of my bathtub.

Be aware that the AOC doesnt have DVI. Only VGA and HDMI. A lil bit weird. Y on earth an LCD monitor dont have DVI????

but most of the gc nowadays got hdmi support wat...so no worries bout tat...lolz...at least for me la.....^^

yeah,tat's why we get a good price tag for aoc angelo....u still can use hdmi to play ps3 wat~no worries~

I really like the design. Love it in fact. Problem is cannot do vertical orientation. Worst thing is cannot use VESA mount sumore.

Btw, how are we supposed to interpret the gradient test image?

It also seems to be a bad test image, because the image was compressed with JPEG, which simplifies the colours and patterns for better compression at the cost of quality reduction. There is only 197,940 colours in it. Well short of the 16.7 million maximum.

Ya, I have checked its specification before I pay. May be there think DVI was same HDMI in term of video signal, so DVI was eliminated ?! And i think the VESA mount was not useful for me so thats will not a prob.

Is this the same as Dell P2210 which can be pivot?

for AOC angelo got DVI or no DVI no prob. its an LCD meant for high level GC. if you got GTX series shud be no problem la.....and yeah too bad cant use VESA mount....if not the screen would look gorgeous on the wall....

* i was afraid that AOC angelo ( a product from china , speaking of which ) might be a bad product. becos u know how chinese ppl do business. but it turns out to be a bang-for-buck item.

the only complain was its not full in black.

They actually have black. The box also shows a black model available but Msian shops only have the white. The black 1 is really nice

AOC is from germany....and LCD is not meant for high level GC.....DVI and HDMI has the same display just that HDMI come along with the sound...

speaking of the DVI...some ppl want it becoz they can connect to PC(DVI) and PS3(HDMI) at the same time without swapping it....

Normal GC will have VGA as well rite? Or im too outdated ard. Coz im using VGA for PC and HDMI for ps3. Quality wise i got no comment coz im using onboard GC. Haha. I dont play quality games on PC anymore since i have ps3.

And seriosly, i bought the AOC 2434 and was fully satisfied with it aldou im not yet found a solution to adjust the height. Haha. The design was good.

AOC from germany ? after googling , yes it is! ....sorry i got my facts wrong. what i heard its from China. thats weird. better believe in Uncle Google next time.
