try referring to DG's guide here.
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1061070I added a section that allows you to enter ANY carrier's MMS settings, and install them directly to your iPhone. All you need is the APN name. Do give it a shot, I was having trouble with my cellular data too, but this seems to have fixed it.

Yes, I know it's actually for tethering, but why not try?
