Eh, we forgot to mention GF1 LCD is 460,000 pixel. Must be better when using Manual Focus brows.gif

Panasonic Malaysia release this news:

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 will be available in two variations — a single lens 14-45mm (35mm equivalent: 28-90mm) lens kit for RM3,499 and a dual lens kit with 14-45mm and 45-200mm (35mm equivalent: 90-400mm) for RM5,189.

cool! new firmware is out already.. I'm charging my battery.. guess have to wait till later today.

I'm going on a >14day trip soon so I think I am really gonna need a spare battery. How much is it going for and where can I find it?

I was in Penang last weekend at the camera shops around komtar area.. and bought 40.5 filter for 30 bucks.. erm.. last time I check in midvalley the filter is RM120 so.. what actually did I just get? some no brand kinda filter is it? Is it okay to used cheap filters?

I still dunno what external flash I should get. Is FL-36R the smallest yet swivel-able option?

Battery for E-P1 is same as the E-400/ E-410/ E-420/ E-450/ E-620.
Search for Olympus BLS1 (BLS-1) Lithium Ion Battery Pack.
Is not cheap.....At least cost you RM200 above...

no problem for a cheap filter......

Go for FL-36R............you can swivel around.....Haha..

I think its ok to use cheap filter. If we use E-P1, guess we're not too demanding..haha

I think you can find cheap third party battery for RM60. You can check out lelong.com.my

Don't use cheap filter especially for holiday pics, bad flare and double images awaits you... shakehead.gif
Got my extra original battery for RM180 but in Singapore though...
Updated my body and kitlense but don't notice any speed AF change, not to say it's a bad thing as previous AF speed doesn't bother me at all anyways... thumbup.gif

Dun worry. No fraud one. Because this product still new, hardly have fraud product. Just make sure
its not used...based on ur feeling...

The price is actually not cheap. If fraud, normally its cheap. But its not. So its not fraud based on my experience.

i got mine with all the things u listed above plus a camera bag for RM2699 and that's the best deal I could find at Midvalley less than a month ago.

I was offered the filter rrp RM120 for RM80 but i didn't take it coz I didn't have anymore cash. dang.. I should have bought it (the filter) then..

Check thoroughly before you buy. Follow your guts.

Can never go wrong with Heliopan or B+W UV filter... wink.gif
The thing is, you can only get the 40.5mm for the brands above in the States or UK, bugger! sad.gif
I'm not using any UV filter now until I can score on any of the two brands above... smile.gif

Make sure you have your battery on full.
And plug in the USB until you see option for Storage, Print, something else and Exit.
Select Storage.
Then press Update in Olympus Master 2
