The ISO 3200 sample result looks amazing in DPReview... Arghhhh, seems the same as my E-420 ISO 800, and that's the max I would go with it...

QUOTE(pst999 @ Jul 16 2009, 10:45 PM) Is this a grey import set? I called Olympus Malaysia this afternoon to check whether they brought in silver E-P1 with silver 14-42mm kit lens and was told by them that Olympus Malaysia did not bring in this combination. Nope, Olympus Malaysia set... WALAH!!! Custom All Silver E-P1... Now to take photo with it and hopefully can post in my Flickr by weekend... |

QUOTE(seaotter @ Jul 17 2009, 11:46 PM) Bought it at RM2880 at dslr in Subang parade, and also bought an extra BLS-1 battery for another RM 250, so it was RM3130 altogether. Hmmm, kinda expensive price you paid there. Now i am just waiting for the boss to bring in Metz flashes so i can get one :3 lol. Going to Bon Odori tomorrow so hope some good ones turn up ya. Haven't had the time to shoot with it yet, SC still 3 as only took pics of my cat to test low light capabilities. In Miri shooting events now so brought the big twin guns only... |

Actually the Pearl White version won my heart too...
But as Xandman noted, the silver version is easier to match with all the lense you can stick on the PEN... |

QUOTE(amirmunzir @ Jul 26 2009, 07:25 PM) dear sifus.. Hi there,i owned a E-410 together wif FL-36R.. but now,im poisoned with this PEN..im considering in trade-in/selling my dslr, since PEN for my opinion is more easy to carry,n not big as dslr and practical to use as daily camera.. now,i need all the sifus some comment..do images/setting/quality etc from this PEN is more syiok/best/excellent (generally) from my E-410??..and if im to get this PEN,FL-36R is better from FL-14 right?? plzz help me to make the decision..hehe thank u,dear all sifus I own a E-420+25mm Pancake and also the FL-36R. At first. when I 'accidentally' Reason being that the PEN is not suitable for fast action photography and composing can be a challenge if you're used to using the viewfinder. Image quality wise, the PEN smoked my E-420 flat out including high ISO shots. The FL-36R is just nice IMHO combined with the PEN and you get swivel head and bounce action. FL-14 is nice but it's too P&S direct lighting. Never like direct flash... Whatever your decisions are, I don't think any of it will be wrong as the PEN is a GREAT camera... |

QUOTE(C-Fu @ Aug 6 2009, 09:50 AM) eh actually i was thinking of doing that. would there be any issues? i believe the lens are more less air tight, so if I cover the glass part it wouldn't be an issue right? whaddaya think? Kidding about that Bro... or would it be better to take the lens apart, if that's even possible? You'll void the Warranty... So, it'a a NO NO... |

QUOTE(hellfire8888 @ Aug 13 2009, 08:41 PM) Ahaaa!!! Finally someone using the Pen and the 50 f/2... Care to elaborate whether the AF slowed down on the Pen using the 50 f/2 compared to 4/3rd body... Thinking to get the MMF-1 and using my 50 f/2 with it but desperately need clarification regarding AF speed... Thanks in advance... |

Thanks for your reply hellfire8888...
Tried the 25 f/1.4 with my E-420 before, too heavy and unbalance for the camera and I think it'll be too much for my Pen too... Great lense anyways especially at fully opened aperture... |

QUOTE(168257061 @ Aug 17 2009, 10:49 PM) Nope, got it at Centre Point. Personally requested the Boss to exchange the Silver kitlense from the White PEN to my kitlense. Another guy bought the White+Black kitlense after me the next day... |
