The ISO 3200 sample result looks amazing in DPReview... Arghhhh, seems the same as my E-420 ISO 800, and that's the max I would go with it... sad.gif

Is this a grey import set? I called Olympus Malaysia this afternoon to check whether they brought in silver E-P1 with silver 14-42mm kit lens and was told by them that Olympus Malaysia did not bring in this combination.
*
Nope, Olympus Malaysia set... rclxms.gif Just need to be nice to the Taukeh and exchange with the White E-P1's kitlens... brows.gif
WALAH!!! Custom All Silver E-P1... thumbup.gif
Now to take photo with it and hopefully can post in my Flickr by weekend... biggrin.gif

Bought it at RM2880 at dslr in Subang parade, and also bought an extra BLS-1 battery for another RM 250, so it was RM3130 altogether.

Now i am just waiting for the boss to bring in Metz flashes so i can get one :3

lol. Going to Bon Odori tomorrow so hope some good ones turn up ya.
*
Hmmm, kinda expensive price you paid there. hmm.gif Got mine in KK for RM2650, even BLS-1 is selling RM190 here... I thought it should be selling cheaper in Peninsular Malaysia... blink.gif
Haven't had the time to shoot with it yet, SC still 3 as only took pics of my cat to test low light capabilities. laugh.gif
In Miri shooting events now so brought the big twin guns only... thumbup.gif

hahahaha....
the lense is sold separately actually...
1199...ive been told... biggrin.gif
*
SAY WHATTTT??? shocking.gif
That's damn expensive, I was expecting RM6xx-7xx region. Might not be worth buying then as 14-42mm is far sharper, also the obvious CA with wide aperture... shakehead.gif

Actually the Pearl White version won my heart too... wink.gif
But as Xandman noted, the silver version is easier to match with all the lense you can stick on the PEN... smile.gif

One question though.

What are you guys using for a bag for the E-P1?
*
Either I'm hand holding it (not using the strap, only wrist strap), rclxms.gif
or it's in my TTP Speed Demon with the FL-36R and E-420+25mm Pancake and 50 f/2... laugh.gif

dear sifus.. wink.gif
i owned a E-410 together wif FL-36R..
but now,im poisoned with this PEN..im considering in trade-in/selling my dslr, since PEN for my opinion is more easy to carry,n not big as dslr and practical to use as daily camera..
now,i need all the sifus some comment..do images/setting/quality etc from this PEN is more syiok/best/excellent (generally) from my E-410??..and if im to get this PEN,FL-36R is better from FL-14 right??
plzz help me to make the decision..hehe
thank u,dear all sifus notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Hi there,
I own a E-420+25mm Pancake and also the FL-36R. At first. when I 'accidentally' brows.gif bought the PEN, first thought came to mind is selling the E-420 but now that I used the PEN thoroughly, decided not to sell it anymore. smile.gif
Reason being that the PEN is not suitable for fast action photography and composing can be a challenge if you're used to using the viewfinder. Image quality wise, the PEN smoked my E-420 flat out including high ISO shots. wink.gif
The FL-36R is just nice IMHO combined with the PEN and you get swivel head and bounce action. FL-14 is nice but it's too P&S direct lighting. Never like direct flash... tongue.gif
Whatever your decisions are, I don't think any of it will be wrong as the PEN is a GREAT camera... thumbup.gif

eh actually i was thinking of doing that. would there be any issues? i believe the lens are more less air tight, so if I cover the glass part it wouldn't be an issue right? whaddaya think?

or would it be better to take the lens apart, if that's even possible?

Kidding about that Bro... shakehead.gif

Ahaaa!!! Finally someone using the Pen and the 50 f/2... rclxms.gif
Care to elaborate whether the AF slowed down on the Pen using the 50 f/2 compared to 4/3rd body... smile.gif
Thinking to get the MMF-1 and using my 50 f/2 with it but desperately need clarification regarding AF speed... biggrin.gif
Thanks in advance... thumbup.gif

Thanks for your reply hellfire8888... smile.gif
Tried the 25 f/1.4 with my E-420 before, too heavy and unbalance for the camera and I think it'll be too much for my Pen too... sad.gif
Great lense anyways especially at fully opened aperture... wink.gif
