Thanks for all the recommendations. Bought the FL-36R, works fine on both the E-P1 and GH1.

I m so in love with the PEN!
After using it for my travel...it totally fulfills my needs! now what else shud i add to it? a flash maybe? or a fast lense is more desirable? |

QUOTE(hellfire8888 @ Aug 13 2009, 08:41 PM) Ahaaa!!! Finally someone using the Pen and the 50 f/2... Care to elaborate whether the AF slowed down on the Pen using the 50 f/2 compared to 4/3rd body... Thinking to get the MMF-1 and using my 50 f/2 with it but desperately need clarification regarding AF speed... Thanks in advance... |

no...kit lens i m refering to the 14-42...
actually bro.... bokeh is achieved with a small DOF... and DOF is affected by a few variables... 1 - aperture 2 - focal length 3 - distance of subject to backgrounf 4 - distance of subject to camera the smaller the DOF...the more bokeh u can get... the longer the DOF...the more sharp image u get... so for ur request....of 1 - 2 meter...bokeh would be visible...but it would be harsh...and not as smooth... anyway...ill try to get a 1-2m bokeh for u tomoro... |

Hi guys
The shot i take is all taken using Zuiko Digital 4/3 lens and Panasonic Leica 4/3 lens. I just need the MMF-1 4/3 Adapter.. Autofocus is available. About the bokeh thingy no worry la...u can get bokeh easily but not with the current kit lens U can use Zuiko Digital 50-200 f2.8-3.5 or use Zuiko 50mm f2.0 or Pana Leica 25 f1.4 or sigma 30mm f1.4 or sigma 50mm f1.4 and the list goes on..or the cheapest alternative is use a tele lens like zuiko 70-300 or zuiko 40-150 |

a measly attempt at showing the kit lense bokeh capability...
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « although it wont beat the bokeh of my zeiss and f1.2 lense... it's still decent for a kit lense i must say... =) This post has been edited by xandman: Aug 13 2009, 10:20 PM |

Thanks for your reply hellfire8888...
Tried the 25 f/1.4 with my E-420 before, too heavy and unbalance for the camera and I think it'll be too much for my Pen too... Great lense anyways especially at fully opened aperture... |
