“1. Model name may not necessarily be the E-P2. The “Pen Footprint” may be for a specific model, but the m43 standard is for a sensor-chamber and lens-mount design and does not dictate the shape of the rest of the camera. Expect this camera to have increased thickness and height as compared to the E-P1 due to the built-in EVF and not quite so rectangular-shaped. A little more “muscular” looking with some characteristics not making it as cute as the E-P1.

2. This camera will have an articulating LCD monitor similar to that found on the E-620, but with higher resolution.

3. There will be a built-in EVF with diopter adjustment on the viewfinder optics. Resolution of this EVF is not known at this time, but may be SVGA in resolution.

GF1 is the best because got flash and the AF is better.

You've come to the right place. I'm sure you'll be happy to use E-P1/GF1 because the size is really small to bring anywhere. I also
sold my Canon 40D due to size problem that I can't bring it anywhere. I rediscover my photography hobby with E-P1.

I've heard GF1 does not have that selectable max auto ISO. But this is just software thing. I believe they'll do it using firmware
update. As for E-P1, it has this feature. You can set the HIGH LIMIT frm 200 to 6400.... in 1/3eV increment

Compare to previous fake rumours, this real E-P1 spec is not really big upgrade
from E-P1....

Let's see:

12 Megapixel - E-P1 got
3fps - not really useful if E-P2 AF still slow
stereo sound - E-P1 got
AF tracking - How affective? Not really used all the time also.
1.44 million dot electronic viewfinder with 100% field of view - ok, some people who keep on asking for EVF will get their wish
8 Art Filters (two more than the E-P1 ….. Diorama Filter and Cross Process) - can this upgraded with firmware for E-P1?
i-Enhance function (color boost) - can this be upgrade also... also, both this feature is software based... can do it with PC...
230K LCD - E-P1 got
X1/180 - not sure...

So what big upgrade? I don't see any big upgrade also...

I'll think big upgrade will be very very fast AF and higher resolution LCD, AF assist, internal flash...

But unfortunately, E-P2 biggest upgrade is EVF and 3fps...

9-18 is not my dream. But its ok considering the size is same like kit lens..
I think 7-14 size is too big!!!
