Frankly, it is slow compare to Canon 40d that I use before. The AF performance is better or on par with the high end P&S. I think GF1 will
be faster. And I do agree E-P1 looks a lot nicer. GF1 look like normal P&S camera.

Here is some lens I have:

14-42mm -> kit lens
17mm -> pan cake lens
Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 this one must get adapter...


Wide angle --> kit lens is ok dy...
Zoom lens --> the only m43 lens is 50-200mm frm Panasonic. But you can follow our forumer silverstan buying 40-150mm with adapter to 43rd....

But my personal preference is 17mm la. Coz u know, I like small camera... and 17mm is the smallest package you can get with E-P1...

Adapter is around RM300-RM500. Got original from Olympus for M43-->43 adapter and M43 --> OM adapter.
But a lot of people buy third party adapter for RM300 and below from ebay to use with Canon FD lens..etc (manual lens).

canon fd is quite cheap. Depend on u la. Everyone have their own preference. With fourthird adapter, u can buy four third lens....and can AF lor...

twin lens is supposed to be RM3300... dun buy higher than that...

Pancake should be around that price.... or like me, I got second hand for RM650 with viewfinder...

My shop in Penang sell RM3300. Already ask 2 shop. They sell RM3300. Some forumer also have that price. So its a standard price.

Yalor, I think I'm lucky to get the 2nd hand 17mm for RM650...lucky...

Else, get twin lens.. more worth lor I Think...

FL-14 is ok lor... but cannot tilt/swiwel, and not powerful... I'm thinking FL-20 better...coz more powerful...

FL-20 can go to 20m range
FL-14 can only go up to 14m...

for flash, u need to use the same brand la..so canon cannot use for olympus....

My target price for this camera is RM3000. So this is almost right on target.

Yes....the big different is in the bigger aperture f/1.7 and its super sharp.... everyone actually
want to buy gf1+20mm f/1.7... hard to get it...

Like me, ae8za got a single lens kit without thinking. But after a while, realise pancake really make the PEN special.
So now, he got this pan+ovf

now you become more lucky than me.... I think keep it la. Its quite small for what it can do. Some more, I don't
think there's a market for it.

yes it is. But I'm a travel light guy. So I just use 17mm all the time eventhough I brought 14-42mm together with me during the trip...

Which one you bought? I already try ebay last time but all need to buy from overseas. I prefer to get
from local shop. At first I want to get from jinfinance. But later, I saw some cheaper one. I see that
the cheaper don't have aperture ring on the adapter itself compare to jinfinance one. So from which
seller you bought it from?
