most of the time...it will play depending on file loaded...if its 16:9, 4:3 or some funny ratio...

So if you want to play 4:3 on a 16:9 TV without side black bars, use the TV remote control.

Thanks for the anwer, azbro.

usually, for most widescreen TV....its not only 16:9 or 4:3...

There are so many selections for aspect to choose from the TV remote:
Auto- to fill up the screen
16:9
4:3
Just
14:9
Zoom 1,2,3

Take note, this may differ depending on your TV or Inputs.

I think by now their delivery period should have improved as they should have stocks now. Otherwise, if you were like batch #2 orders (which I was previleged to be in), you should get your unit between 1.5 - 2 months from the date of your order.  whistling.gif

I asked their sales team and received the following reply

Done setup NFS on Xtreamer & NAS. Before, some of the movie files stuttering during playback. Tested few problematic files just now and found very impressive result, no more stuttering. rclxms.gif Will test more files.

Not sure whether AC Ryan can support NFS, but NFS on Xtreamer really increases the streaming performance. thumbup.gif

Why esata?...most ext hd comes with USB interface.
Just plug and play with the Xtreamer.

thanks for quick reply but usb 2.0 got it's transfer rate limitation which i think will causes stuttering if i play high definition movie like bluray and never do well when u want to fast forwarding or skip to the middle of a movie. i know xtreamer itself support internal sata...but i just want to know is that possible to get it work with esata, so that i can save my cost to get a larger capacity 3.5inch ext-HD rather than a same price but half of the capacity.

I think USB 2.0 should be fast enough even for the highest bitrate movies.
