Finally got my Xtreamer today. It only took 3 days ship from Hong Kong to Malaysia. The packaging look really nice but in the other hand, the weight and quality of remote control slightly disappointed me which look like a brandless remote control that can be found selling everywhere.

Xtreamer itself is excellent, small and high portability. The fan noise is not really bothering me.

I think they really have to put some hard work on the interface because it's really look "..." and the loading ugly green box in live streaming.

Unfortunately, I haven't check it out the stunning of HD movies because my hdmi cable still on its way >.<"

So far, i got good experience with my xtreamer.

congrats on your new toy hehe enjoy!!

I m gonna watch lots of medias during this festive break hehe thumbup.gif

By the way, everyone...is there anyone here getting the eTrayz?? Is it worth it to get?? I have been having this worry about keeping all my medias in my PC, one day one of my HDD is gonna fail and i will lose my precious anime collections. Been looking for external storage that has at least RAID 1.

I currently have :

HDD1 : 640Gb
HDD2 : 500Gb
HDD3 : 500Gb
HDD4 : 500Gb
HDD5 : 640Gb

Around 2.78TB all almost 90% full of Animes and 10% of Movies.

why do you wanna mirror it? all your smaller HDDs can store the backup files and keep in cabinet lor. thats sufficient redundancy I think..

hrm... hmm.gif

U've got a point there too. Its just that I m lazy to sync from time to time coz i still add in more medias from time to time....guess i wanna have a something that monitors and syncs automatically.

So u mean, I should get 2 x 1.5Tb HDDs to slot into my current tower casing tansfer all my current collection into these new HDDs and use them as live where I keep all my current HDDs as backups? Why i didnt think of that duh doh.gif

Thanks bro!!

Is that what u did too??

With NFS setup, everything streamed smoothly direct from NAS, very happy with the investment thumbup.gif

In term of Picture slideshow, still prefer PS3.

did you make sure the srt file name is exactly the same as your mkv file? can rename it to see if it is working (use copy and paste),

Hi guys,

I didn't read from page 1 but I'm wondering if this player can handle 1080p MKVs that uses High@L5.1 profile
