I've tested the 7G. Excellent keys, very nice to type. You do get what you pay for, period.

Didn't get it because of its oh-so-boring looks. As much as I want to say that I'm a no-nonsense performance oriented person, aesthetics/image do still have an effect on me. The same reasons why I'd never get a Civic Type R applies here. Good performance/feeling with rubbish aesthetics/image = fail.

Never tried the Tarantula, so can't compare directly, sorry.

damn, what a fugly mouse and i was hoping it was april 1st today.
the megasoma sounds interesting, the price is also very interesting at USD49 - ie. USD10 more compared to the krait or destructor.

but the naga finally incorporates a rest area for the ring finger, though it isnt exactly the wired version of a mamba that i imagined.
too bad its not a nightmare, so guess i can go back to bed peacefully then.

From what i saw in the pics, i think the 12 buttons will mean extra practice for those with a big thumb. The 12 buttons look kinda small...

P.S.: Today's my bday! rclxm9.gif keh keh keh....

Yeah noticed the price of the Megasoma too. A bit high, for what is essentially still a softmat.

My Destructor is still going strong though, so not that interested in it. Plus the Megasoma looks a bit ostentatious. Prefer the sleek, understated (well kind of tongue.gif) appearance of my black Destructor.

Thanks for the wish, bro igor! rclxms.gif

Speaking of the Megasoma; i'm skeptical about the design... mainly the white color. I don't know about other ppl, but usually white color stuff that is constantly in contact with my hands tend to yellow over time. What do u think?

I don't think it's made of cloth, being an amalgam of hard/soft pads, most likely a Sphex-like thin material slapped on a layer of silicone. So sweat/moisture absorption is unlikely. I don't think it could be washed either. But maybe just wiping it regularly would keep it looking nice and clean.

Anyone here with a white Destructor who can attest to this?

I can't say I particularly like the way Razer is heading with all these oriental-sounding naming scheme. Though the Megasoma sounds quite cool.

Oh, i just found out that Naga in myths, legends, scripture and folklore, the category naga comprises all kinds of serpentine beings.

Sos: http://www.khandro.net/mysterious_naga.htm

So, Razer still sticks to snakes n poisonous/dangerous animals! yay~! brows.gif

yeah, Megasoma is COOL... name only lah... thumbup.gif

Ah crap...... Normally I would jump at a new Razer mouse..... but the Naga? Urgh...... Maybe if I played more WoW I might want one, but for now? I'll stick to my Mamba as my primary, thankyouverymuch.
Will still get the Orochi and Kabuto........ but now the megasoma looks interesting...........
