may i know what kind of behavior?
after changing to PS3@35psi the car is floating more at highway speeds. hence i pumped 39psi recently, the ride feels hard but more stable in highway
is it just me or is it getting noisier and less grip too with more psi?
*
using a soft sidewall tyres for hardcore touge' will caused the tyres' sidewall, especially the upper part to be slightly bulging.
what car are you driving? 225/45/r17 at 39psi is a little on the high pressure. it may caused the middle section tread to wear out faster than both side end.
as the tread wear out, any tyres will become noisier.
btw, fwd car need more tyres pressure on the front.

you can't go wrong with michellin premium comfort class tyres. not sure if the continental cc5 have 'em at those size.

205/45-16 is too small n under size while 205/55-16 over size both these tires will effect ur speedo n odo meter's accuracy wink.gif

more like a winter size tyre.. jk. or perhaps, bigger old skool' car which used to have a smaller diameter but wider wheels
i thought bridgestone turanza series and toyo cf1 or something had it at those size?
even those michellin energy series and dunlop direzza had 'em.

I asked many shops already , all no stock ... including the Bridgestone shop ( need to special order and its priced at RM280 per piece WTF ) .. they only have 185/60/R14 in store ... I'm using 195 now .. can change to 185 ? Will the tyre looks weird ?

the tyre alone doesn't look weird but it will be very much depend on what car. if it was on a big car, side view will be quite odd but who cares,
as long as it works well, should be okay. check with the tyre shop if the 14" rim could take the 185 width without any problem too.

I driving toyota corona ST171 laugh.gif but my tires are slightly squeezed out from the side ... just slightly ... wonder if 185 can fit it nicely or not ...

Whats the best tyre for 185/60/R14 ? Need something around RM150 per pcs ... considering bridgestone turanza, michelin energy ..

it's the issue with 185 width and the rims compatibility that need to be address.
you can try turanza which had a better treadwear rate.
