goodyear eagle f1 gsd3 (one with directional / V shape tread) is noisy.
but the newer goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric is a fine!

michellin premium comfort range(check with rascal_stitch for pricing) and continental cc5.
both are entry level donut. but from experience, i will put my money on a.drive.
eagle nct5's grip sux' big time. even so when the tread is lower than 70%.
both are performance donut. which tend to be quite noisy. can't get a comfort, quiet and handling at once package.
re050 are a rung below the re001. haven't try re050 yet but r001 is definitely a good buy for a highly spirited driving.
after a run in, your current ps3 donut is started showing it's true potential  brows.gif

came across the bridgestone chart sometimes ago. can't recall if i still remember 'em thou sweat.gif
but re001 was of extreme performance donut while re050 slotted to max performance. but there is this re070 in extreme performance class as well.
and re010 was of uhp class!
sometimes, codes and numbering can be confusing.

just "REPATCHED" two holes on my XM1 almost "F1" condition tires... so smooth until use hand also can feel the botakness lol

after patching, now i have been advised to change the tyres as when patching don't cure the holes, it means that the condition of the tyre are getting worse... For me,.. i am still ok on dry roads.. but on wet roads like today in MEX highway... only dare to stick to left lane with <80km/h to prevent aquaplaning...

So now.. i am off with a budget that is less then RM120 to get 4 donuts... the shop recommended Falken duno what model (that i forgot) for RM11x, as i will not be using that particular car for long... don't feel like investing another 6xx for michelin XM1 or A-drive.. >.< Duraplus... can tahan?

size are 175/70/R13... iswara...

tq~

boonykun@
if you want something with more lasting tread, go for duraplus or those offering from dunlop.
but long life donut tread usually doesn't have a good grip.

ltw82@
nitrogen last a lot longer. no frequent pump.
better stability and handling at high speed due to nitrogen usually runs cooler thus improves tyres pressure retention.
longer tread lifespan too.
some claim it help in reducing the fc but am not so sure about this.

how long should we refill the nitrogen gas?
been using it for almost 4 months now, no sign of losing tyre pressure yet, but is it advisable to deflate and re-pump it?

oh, the 1.3 with 15" ones are equipped with goodyear NCT5 i think. kinda entry level tires.
are you ok with it or looking for another choice?
can't really decide since i'm not sure the full size of the tire. 175? 185?
because for 175 only 1 available but 185 got a lot choice.

edit: just found out the size are 195 55 r15 and the stock not nct5

satria neo 1.3 is using 15" which is 185/55-15
so he eitheruse back d oem size or 195/50-15 as 195/55-15 is definatelt over size n will kill d car's fc+speedo reading~

every 2-3 months once~
jus refill it will do n no need to deflate n re-pump it~
everybody always neva notice d sign of losing air pressure but every month they losing sum air inside n they neva notice it tills it goes very lose n gice bad fc only pump n it's bad for d tires cuz everytime wen there's not enuf air, tires will intend to wear out on both shoulder faster than usual~
