wow.. after all these years, i finally know how woh fatt looks like.. never been there n i dont think i wanna go there.. been hearing too many negative feedbacks about the store from a lot of musicians over the years..

Can you recommend any guitar shops that sell cheap guitars and got 1st class service? When I asked my friends where are the "big" guitar shops, the only answer I got is Bentley and Woh Fatt. Any other alternative?

i only go woh fatt buy accessories such as tuner, guitar stand, etc, it's cheaper than other retail stores, and my preferred guitar string, which i only can find it in woh fatt, other places don't sell. That's the only reason i go to petaling street area, else i won't go.

this is a conversation between a two guy and one salesperson in wohh fatt long time ago:

One guy(Guy 1) was testing an epiphone les paul and one salesperson is assisting him. then one guy(Guy 2) come to ask the salesperson;

guy 2: ini brand epiphone ker?
guy 1: ya, gitar nie epiphone
guy 2: ini gitar pasang kat mana?(he means where's the guitar have been made?korea?china?)
salesperson: pasang masuk amplifier lah
guy 2: oo...aku ingat pasang dekat peti sejuk!!..he said angrily and walk out of the shop...

We dun have a library... we only have music shop that we can enter for free and spend our time ...

that is why a music store should be kind and friendly to their customers or potential customers...

well, from ur previous post u obviously have never set foot in woh fatt...so i wonder how u can give judgement.
so until u do set foot in woh fatt, u will realise that the place isnt made for lepaking.

and no one said the staff cant be friendly, me and a few others here im sure have never had problems with them.

i have never encountered any bad experiences everytime i visit the shop, considered lucky? The uncles there are friendly and helpful, i spent quite some times in the shop. Testing guitars, chit chatting with the uncles.. Everytime sure got buy some stuffs la..
