UNIFI so slow when opening international website

streamyx is dying. slow like shit

time to upgrade to unifi

My place got no unifi .. only have screamyx up to 2MBPS < according to technician
try to upgrade to 4MBPS line couple of time...after a week, call them back and they say 4mb not avaiable at my area
Month later, TM call asking if i still want to upgrade to 4MBPS and they say it avaiable now at my area, of coz I say yes..
guess what?
week later i call them back, they say according to their schedule technician should come and install upgrade at my place yesterday!
they give me phone number to contact him..
so i call him immediately!
-Sorry sir, your area do not support 4MBPS screamyx, only 2MBPS, that's why i didn't come to you place yesterday...<he say
end of story

now im back with super slow problematic 1MB screamyx they never solve

Biasa la TM. Don't get me started on their billing and all. Nevertheless we dont really have a choice if we want a somewhat stable Internet connection especially for condos. So far Unifi has just been OK for me. Sad to say as Malaysians we just have to be contented

unifi 5mb so slow torrent today. only 130KB/s average. anyone?

I'll be happy if I get that speed on average per download man

Unifi not going to reduce their price since Maxis and Time already offering better package than theirs at the same price.

With regards to your Streamyx 2Mbps and above availability issue, we were sincerely apologise on the inconveniences caused. We are truly sorry for the poor service you had experienced through this period. There is no plan so far to upgrade the port for higher speed. The maximum speed that can be supported at your place is 1Mbps only.

im from sarawak, same problem...

i wonder how they can even launch unifi in sarawak, because some area cant even reach 2mb...

So far TM provide the best service (unlimited and stable) internet connection to me.
By the way, all telcos got users complaint. The best way to rate which telcos the best is base on total subscribers the providers had... the more the best.

yep, agreed. compared to all telco/ISP tm is the best among all (even if theres some users have worst experience with TM)

torrent on my 1mbps streamyx has slowed down considerably

used to be 100kbps or more, but its not even touching 20kbps now, for about a week. Sigh, the fact that I didnt touch anything and it became like this is really killing me!!!

I am thinking whether they will implement cap quota soon...
As long as they give reasonable quota, I am fine. Example Streamyx 1Mbps with 20GB, 4Mbps with 30-40GB... But looking at other providers quota, seem like their amount really so less, eg P*.

Same here too. My torrents normally can maintain 100kb/s throughout the day, but the download cannot get higher than 20kb/s. Whereas the upload can go up to 30kb/s, so I end up having a 1.7 share ratio for my torrents.

u on 1mbps streamyx also? are other streamyx 1mb users also experiencing this?

i'm experiencing this too. my torrent speeds has slowed considerably for the past two weeks. whats going on?
