I need some guidance from all of u....
...Last 2 week's ago i just changed new rims taken from the new Myvi Se 1.5, the tyre+rims = 175/65/R14 and swap with my normal standard 13" tyre+rim. Ive used for two weeks now til 2 days i heard a loud sound coming in from my behind 2 donuts....my guess is my fender must had touch the wheels or the tyre not supported for viva?
Btw previously the most people in my car was max 3, but 2 days ago i brought my family go jalan² around town, every road bumper or when at road corner can hear screeching sound coming in from behind the two wheels. I got ask around, most of my friends suggest me to buy new coils / spring or ketuk my fender....what you guys suggest?
well, viva suspension is known to be very soft to be honest, especially the rears. that myvi SE rims are the same size as my original viva elite rims. BUT, the tyre profiles are not. 65 is known to be thicker than the 50 of elite. that makes the tires higher thus, easy to touch the fender on full load. instead of ketuk which will spoil your original look, you might want to try to install spring buffer if you don't have budget to go for a stiffer suspension. spring buffer will just cost you below RM100 per piece. ...Last 2 week's ago i just changed new rims taken from the new Myvi Se 1.5, the tyre+rims = 175/65/R14 and swap with my normal standard 13" tyre+rim. anyway guys, update on my bearing. i've found NKN bearing from japan that will cost us RM70 per piece, cheaper than original perodua and from the seller said, it's tougher than the stock, i hope it's true. gona installl it this thursday and hopefully it survives for a long time.
