QUOTE(noblesse @ Sep 22 2011, 09:03 PM) sry bro, im not very well versed with exhaust problems. your viva using 2 bullets and 1 midbox? i recently had an upgrade, full stainless steel exhaust. 3-1 extractor, 2 bullets, midbox, full SS piping. so far so good. nice bassy sound when idling. not too loud , just nice for your problem, i 'think' it could be probably be due to unburnt fuel? or what do they call it, fuel too rich? i dont think its exhaust bocor or something.. usually that comes together with car vibrating excessively when idling Added on September 22, 2011, 9:04 pm no la bro, all new cars all fuel injection. carburetors is kancil time haha.. easily identifiable with the big round air filter in the engine. Added on September 22, 2011, 9:07 pm my guess would be metallic.. how is your FC?? anyways.... new member... Viva Blue Auto 1.0cc Full Spec here~~ |

QUOTE(camel90 @ Oct 9 2011, 08:50 PM) hurm. it's hard to describe. it's like 'eenngggg' or 'emmmm'. hahahhaha haha i dun think i gt such sound but my voice is like 'air leaking'.....anyway, this happens when i'm cruising 90-100 and i lift off the throttle and keep the gear at D. i will try it on my gf's car tomorrow as she's driving 1.0L auto too. will give update tomorrow night. if it's the same (which i hope it is), i think it's normal then front lower bar cannot pass bump? wohhh!! super low ride is it? haha not that low...but 2 finger infront and 2.5 at back.. |

QUOTE(camel90 @ Oct 10 2011, 07:06 AM) drawback? nop. but for me, since my exhaust piping is not standard and the aftermarket cap ayam exhaust that i have currently was installed by some shop with crappy workmanship haha i also duno is normal or not T^Tahhhhhhhhhhhh. yeeeessssssssssssssss!!! that's the correct term! sorry bro, my english sucks Added on October 12, 2011, 8:32 pm QUOTE(camel90 @ Oct 11 2011, 11:10 AM) Hello guys, my current Bendix MetalKing brake pad has almost worn out completely in a month or two. as for now, i'm having fun with it. it has much better braking power and certainly very durable for touge driving with a lot of late braking compared to the ori from perodua. i heard that sumitomo this brand also not bad....price cheaper than bendix..so, do you have any other brands to recommend? Ferodo? EBC? has anyone use it? Bendix is roughly around RM120, i don't mind paying a little more. but if it is more than RM200, i will just take another pair of bendix and use it before replace the entire brake system to myvi+aftermarket rotor or YRV. i'm still discussing with sifoo noblesse about this one tho 2nd..it has less dust than bendix.. Added on October 12, 2011, 8:34 pm QUOTE(camel90 @ Oct 12 2011, 12:24 AM) hurm. i think it's different from me then because in my case the sound happens when i engaged gear (D or R, although Revers is more obvious) K & N Air Filter Injection Kit HB.AC 85-3002 RM 290.00I'm pretty sure to install Open Pod air filter is enough with your budget even with heatshield. but to include the Cold Air Intake installation, you might want to increase it a few bucks to 400 perhaps? i'm not sure tho. but, i did come across a few sellers here in LYN that are selling open pod installation. try search for them UPDATED : I found a website stating the estimated price. i don't know it's real or not, but at least we can use it as a rough budget preparation ENGINE POWER IMPROVEMENT KIT K & N Air Filter Injection Kit HB.AC 85-3002 RM 290.00 K & N Injection Kit Heat-shield HB.HS 85-3005 RM 130.00 Hot Bits Extractor HB.EM 85-600-S RM 200.00 Hot Bits Exhaust System HB.ES 85-600M/600R RM 550.00 APEXi AFCII Super — Airflow Controller AP 25-401-A011 RM 1,200.00 timing belt i'm not sure. but, during my 40k service, they changed the aircond belt, power steering belt, and another one i forgot. mine is 1000cc Auto K & N Injection Kit Heat-shield HB.HS 85-3005 RM 130.00 wher can get this 2 stuff in a nice price?? i changed my timing belt during 80000km... the foreman told me the belt condition is like 7/10.. QUOTE(camel90 @ Oct 30 2011, 08:55 AM) as for now i just limit the number of passengers for my car. if i can't, i will drive awefully slow at uneven roads, road bumps and potholes. problem is....or, purchase a new set of aftermarket suspension setup consists of stiffer spring and stiffer absorber. if you don't have that much budget, purchase a pair of spring buffer for the rear suspension, one for each side as a start. or two for each side depends on your need. with spring buffer, your car is still using the stock setup but the spring buffer keeps the stock spring from moving too freely, thus avoid thr tyres touching the fenders and give you a little stiff setup for handling. this choice is cheap. under rm100 you can get 2 spring buffers already. i hit the front bumper not the rear fender... it hit when i pass by uneven turning.. wher can get good quality buffer ?? |
