I wouldn't say wider view. The view will remain the same just that the new lens is optimised for the APS-C sensor. It does have a closer MFD though.

hokc77, no, all of them will give the same angle of view on APS-C.

As in the fact that it is a DT lens. This could contribute to the fact that the bokeh seems better and maybe it will not produce as much flaring and/or CA compared to the Minolta F/1.7

Wouldn't know until someone fully tests it out and do a proper comparison.

the sony centre at midvalley is open from 9-5 on weekdays only!? that means if wanna send for servicing, must take half day leave!?

Auto exposure, Aperture-priority AE, 1/10 sec, f/10, ISO 100

wind blowing and u shoot at 1/10!? increase ss to about 1/80 or 1/90, aprture kasi taruk f20 ini macam... then fire cobra in WL mode... sure chun!
