haha! yea ryzan i enjoyed the TT last night too, thanks ryzan for sharing ur knowledge!... it was nice meeting all ya guys again, all friendly and accomodating as always!.... i was even entertained by the sekinchan dude who uses Adobe Lightbox!
in my opinion la, i think Sony just wants to get everyone into dslrs first, let them get hungry for better specs, lenses and accesories, and then only introduce damn kau good models... spooky, sorry din check the price for the CF card la... i reached berjaya times square ngam2 at 8.. i'd also like to point out that the directional keys in the A330 is so much like a PnS camera... which can be off-putting to some la... i agree with dingenius, the 18-55mm f3.5 SAM is much faster than the 1870 la... but it is still not very silent la... the camera is light, i think it's a good option for one who like to travel light la, with the lens detached, the body can easily fit into a handbag i think Added on June 10, 2009, 8:59 am QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Jun 10 2009, 08:57 AM) Thanks to you guys, I earned another RM15. hey bro ur the sony style guy kan!Nice meeting you guys and thanks for all your views and feedbacks. From the looks of it, I guess it's true that Sony is aiming the A230, A330 & A380 at really noobs PnS users.
Cannot set Kelvin WB??!! Cannot quickly choose AF points??!! Darn! The rumors may be true after all - The A2xx and A3xx is aimed at PnS users while those who are a bit more serious should be looking at the rumoured A5xx series deemed to be the TRUE replacement for the A100. This range will now compete against the D90 range of DLSRs. The A700 will have a replacement soon and will now compete at a higher price point against the D300 and 50D range of DSLRs. Those of you hoping to get a A700 on the cheap had better get it now before stock runs out! Which means bad news for me. Sony will not be releasing any budget FF camera this year. Counting the A230,A330,A380 and A500 and A550 PLUS the A700 replacement, Sony will be introducing 6 bodies this year. That's a lot!! I might even say that the A700 replacement may only be due next year! So the best chance of a budget FF will be end of next year!! But looking on the bright side I can have longer time to save up ler... |
