Can't be air filter lol. Just service my car not long ago... Mileage juz 4k plus in 3 weeks time.
I tink maybe due to 15w50 oil given my SC during 1st service sweat.gif
Does SC only verify similar problem using the electronic device ONLY ?

I also notice that the long bar/chasis under my car got dented. Look like due to car jack. I never service my car outside before ... only for allightment
I tell to SC and they keep insist I hit somethin n make it dented

It' true... When i first remove the cat-con and aftermarket s-flow, feel little bit late to get momentum.. That's why change the stock bullet with swirl type... Then it better... Now using 4-2-1 like sphiroth.. Change to aftermarket straight flow bullet...

halo everyone.. been quiet for a while already...

i find my CPS choking a bit under high rev from 4krpm to 5krpm on 2nd and 3rd gear. is it becoz the spark plugs giving way? my car now 7.2k mileage. 2nd service done but no change spark plugs.

by the way, i just found out that the spark plugs are the 'small' head type. the normal 21mm plug removers can't even slide into the spark plug 'tunnel'. need to get smaller sockets to remove the spark plugs. whew!

Added on June 23, 2009, 6:47 pmadd: choking like gasping for air... air filter checked and seems clean. still using ori paper filter...

Which SC u went bro ?
I think I got the similar problem but finally solved. Went to SC around 12plus, waited till almost 4pm .. and 7pm only all solved. The foreman open up everything in my rear boot to check the sound. Then finally only discover the root cause at the wire ...
now the rattling sound gone d ...

but later on i discover another type of sound from rear again ... mad.gif

Hi guys.
Been following this thread since early this year. I'm planning to get my first car in August. Gen2 CPS is one of my choice. If I change the tail lights to the LED ones, will that void my cars warranty? Tempted to change them. brows.gif

From my experience with Proton SC, they usually just close one eye for small mods (air filter, spark plug, sport rim etc..)

Zen, how to tune TB? I thought ecu control it... When i first install rebore TB, rpm so high during idle... After few run, then it came back to normal...

Which one is MAP sensor? I only know the o2 sensor, crank angle sensor and CPS sensor...

Its easier to claim warranty if the SC is the same with the company you bought the car. eg buy from PE and claim warranty from PESC.
