Maybe this time Valve make L4D2 into a full game! With full single player storyline like Resident Evil series.

New item includes incendiary rounds that burns zombies upon contact, but you have to use it right after you got it, no saving it for later.
There's another variation of common zombie, Hazmat Suit Zombie, that is tougher than normal zombie in health, and also fireproof (molotov, incendiary rounds don't work well)
The timeline is supposed to be after L4D1, hence the advanced mutation.

Oh, and they said that they are trying to merge L4D1 and L4D2 altogether, to prevent these problem:

-People who want to play L4D1 campaign have to quit L4D2 and start L4D1
-Xbox360 users have to swap disc to play L4D1 or L4D2.

edit: my thoughts - a bit cartoonish, don't you think? it has less of a horror feel to it. to be honest it really looks like a modded version of l4d - re-skinned characters, re-skinned weapons, etc.

still looks fun to play nonetheless

I've watched at the vids on IGN, looks to me like they did a cheap mod and is trying to sell it as a full game. C'mon Valve, what happened to your episodic vision? Totally dissapointed.

Also that it comes a week earlier than L4D2.
Another game that is on November is Assassin Creed 2, which release date is the same as L4D2.
