I'll like to emphasize that we need LEADERSHIP and PRESENCE in the team ! I don't care who we need, I only need these attributes ! If there is someone in the team can provide these, I have no complain if we are not buying.

o' martins if compared to ade, has the edge...better in agility and balance...his eye for goal is good too...can be very lethal in the box.

It's not easy to compare striker-to-striker as I believe they are different type of strikers. (disclaimer: I'm not pro-Ade)
Basically, we have different types of strikers in the team and for Ade's type, I think Bendtner is.

Arsenal could match the 12m price tag, but not the 100k per week salary that has been offered by citeh. If Arsenal do really offer that much of salary to Barry, it will definitely cause unrest in our dressing room since most of our more "senior" players and heck even RvP and Andrey dont get 100k per week. I rather not see that happen.


The signing of Barry is a marker for City. Unlike the Craig Bellamys and Wayne Bridges of this world, they have signed a player who could easily slot into Arsenal’s team. They have signed a player Arsene Wenger once wanted.

Maybe the Arsenal boss is eyeing somebody better. Maybe he has earmarked the new Patrick Vieira.

hmmm ... No news from Pool regarding Barry this summer probably shows that they have placed all their support for Alonso. No news from arsenal probably shows that :

1) Denilson and Song are good enough in the eyes of Le Boss. Le Boss did mention that the area he's most probably going to strengthen is our defence. He did not mention anything about our midfield if i remember correctly.

2) Le Boss already has someone better in his mind. *cough cana cough*

True True. If Barry get 100k per week, think Chaos will happen in Arsenal dressing room. I do feel AW should get a good established CB to partner with either Toure/Gallas. I think you all will agree with me that Gallas played much better after he been stripped for his captain yet I dont see Arsenal have any speedy-air commanding CB like Vidic. Seriously, Get a Vidic-Type CB. That what we need. Perharps getting Cana to partner with Fabs is good. But getting another CB will be best!

Either he bribed the referee or he got strings with all the referee daughters. Or, referee feared of getting wallup.

Actually i feel that more than 50% of the tackles that are shown in the clips are actually clean tackles. Most of the time Cana did touch and clear the ball away from the opponents before catching their legs. It's probably the aggression of the tackles that made him look badass. These kind of tackles most of the time can get away easily with a booking from ref. So it doesnt surprise me that he wasnt sent off as often as most people thought he ought to be. This dude does look promising. Seems like just the guy we need . But i have to admit, i've never seen this guy play for real before. And we know youtube clips can make anyone looks godlike. Nonetheless, as a gunner, i still enjoy watching all his tackles especially when there're rumours of us linked to him. It may be only a tiny puff of smoke, but it's better than none right
