i seriously dont know what the cause for her to devour her youngs. the babies is not fully grown yet. Left them when the babies still on top of her mother. i dunno. may she moght have goten hungry and as i havent provide her with ay food source she eat all her youngs.. it mayb aswell that shes streesed caused by the mites. (dunno where they came from just changed the subs)

i think sometime if the scorpion felt threaten ..they will consume their youth /.."P

oh well there are many possibilities...

wanted to make a paper weight but dunno where to buy the raisin thinggy.. got 1 dead scorpion in freezer...

i think it can be bought from the hardware store ...

Added on June 1, 2009, 5:58 pmwe could also frame the specimen but have to be presered like mumies.. dry it out and put some chemicals (presume its alcohol) then dry it again, then frame it.. correct me if im wrong

aswering to a question earlier on yes i use red led for the lighting.

this week is a "lost" week for alot of us.

i lost 3 loicheles last night. 1 big liocheles canibalise 3 smaller liocheles.
and i thought they were communal.

nvr mind la.. cant do anything... about ur liocheles i had the same... dunno who eat who but i lost 2 to cannibalism. they are communal but if less food is given they will try to find another source of food, e.g their friends...

wen i was in kelantan i tried to hunt for some scorps and centipede but failed... nothing... although my bro got stung by a centi and he killed it straight away... haiz..
