nice setup...i really like it.BTW...where is the old setup hiding place?

can u see the meal worm in the old setup picture. center bottom. that is the entrance of the hide. but they don' t like it and burrow beneath the grass. since the old setup was a false bottom tank, underneath the grass was water, soil and clay, the scorpions ended up real dirty and there was a risk of drowning.the scorpion that is in the picture is Banyin, sub adult female.

Oic...i really like ur setup,got grass and plant .Too bad my tank too small only can fit in water dish and its hiding place.
Going to get a bigger tank soon

i'm using a Rm16.50 large plastic tupper ware that i bought at a shop near my house.

much cheaper then any aquarium. and because the plastic is not really clear, it is like smoke glass like that, the scorpions do spend more time outside even in day time.

if you close the lid and only open it like 2 days once, you don't even need to spray the substrate because the water will evaporate and condense back into the substrate.

hi guys.. i just arrive home.. so damn tired.. but it get worst..
The scorps stuff have been thrown everywhere.. i think its that bloody rat. The darking beetles have been eaten all 6 of them... They chew through the plastic enclosure. all are a mess.. that one i dont really mind.. but..
Looked at the mother with babies.. all is gone.. no more babies.. shes FAT! mayb she eaten all of them... i have make sure the tank have water and high in humidity.. what went wrong... F**K!! i can only see one white scorpling thats already dead. To add to the frustration, shes full of mites... i hate my day... driving 12 hours nonstop ... and went home to see total destruction..

can it be that the scopling burrow deep into the subs?

Wow...sounds like disaster.I dun think scorpling can burrw yet cos their pincer not fully develope yet lo.Mind to post a pic of it?

Better clean off the mits 1st.As for the scorpling is not ur fault,the mother still can give birth.

argh... frustrating... yes the mother can give birth again.. but have to wait another 8-9 months... dats long... i have waited for this moment and now its all gone...

Consider this as bad luck...There is nothing to do to bring back all the scorpling.Sry 4 ur loss...Other scorpion still ok?

others are ok.. my precious Spinugerus and stigmurus is ok.. the other afs is ok.. no mites whatsoever.. now all my hope is on my 2nd female and im 60%sure shes gravid.. im hoping so...

Did the 2nd female mate successfully b4?If yes i think it is gravid lo...Finger crossing

i dunno.. shes getting bigger though.. havent feed her or anything...

Then there is a high % that she is gravid lo...
