rmmbered somebody asked about scorps, I did some literature search and found that it is quite interesting.
I believed it was xtracooljustin:
bad reputation, because it is venomous, it has been referred so many times in the bible metaphorically,
you know how it works like,
it can be translated literally and metaphorically,
poor thing some translate it this way:
QUOTE
This frightful creature is several times mentioned in the Bible. It is the largest among insects, and more dangerous than any of them. It is sometimes found in Europe, and is there about four inches long; but those of hot countries are sometimes more than a foot in length.

http://www.biblestudytools.com/OtherResour...a.cgi?number=26if this is true, I'm sure we will drool like crazy.
1 foot is almost 30.5cm, like 12inch or what.
and from another source
Scorpio, rising at the onset of winter, is generally considered an enemy of the light and solar gods or heroes. He is usually the bad guy in mythology. The constellation of Orion is said to be the image of the Greek giant Orion, hunting companion of the goddess Artemis.http://ww2.netnitco.net/~legend01/scorpion.htmqouted from Bible,
Revelation 9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.here is another qoute from the bible,
notice that from Deuteronomy 8:15; Luke 10:19,
The Lord led the Israelites safely through a wilderness filled with scorpions and armed His disciples with the authority to trample upon scorpions; indicating that His followers would triumph over the venomous attacks of the Devil scientifically speaking, the scorpion that resides there might be LQ. and is surely not AFS, so I don't think we should have negative perception towards all scorpions as they also play important role in medication too, especially
conservation of scorpion in MALAYSIA.
another sigh from Greek mythology:
