My AFS doesnt eat much. He eats one meal worm every other day. When I bought crickets just now, the shop sold me 40 crickets for RM2. I wanted Rm1 but he said RM2 minimum order. So now, how do i sustain my crickets? What do you guys feed them?

Anybody of you aware of a scorpion being used as a branding logo? Here is the one. The Abarth is the tuning company for Fiat cars. No prize for guessing its a Longimanus. This post has been edited by xtracooljustin: May 25 2009, 11:27 PM

My AFS hasnt molted for da past 1 yr... as what my fren told me. In fact it hasnt molted since she had it. Is this normal? So Im not sure what instar my AFS is in. Speaking of molting, 3 out of da 9 crickets in the AFS tank is molting! Bigger meal for my AFS.

QUOTE(akagidemon @ Jun 6 2009, 02:03 PM) the breeding program is getting along well. they mated again. i'm not sure if this is normal for scorpions but yesterday they mated again. Added on June 6, 2009, 2:09 pmif the mating is successful and there are scorplings then ur on my " want a longimanus from akagidemon' list. Good la... i can get another AFS for my lonely AFS. QUOTE(RyoKenzaki @ Jun 6 2009, 03:10 PM) U said ur afs is 5cm from head till tail? But judging from the color of ur afs telson its adult and the size shld be bigger Cause if adult, then it wont molt again until it die Its roughly 2.5 inches from head til da base of da tail... as u know da tail usually curled up. So just measure til da base of da tail. Telson is white colour with a bit of maroon. So is it adult yet?

Oh i c... i thought Longimanus is AFS and AFS is Longimanus. Mine gives off a slight green colour under certain lighting. Just plan to give him some company... not for breeding. One of the reasons is the food supply dies much faster than it gets eaten. 50sen can buy about 10 crickets, which is too much for one AFS. Besides, the tank is pretty big, so 2 AFS would do just nice in this tank.
Thanks to all sifus for all da pointers.

Does AFS tend to be picky with the size of their food? My AFS caught a huge cricket (this cricket alredi molted til da stage where is so huge, brown colour wif large wings), caught it in its claws for a while then let it go. It wasnt struggling, cricket is quite weak. Moments later I pushed a smaller cricket to it, once caught straightaway eat the smaller cricket.

I would like to adopt a scorp if RyoKenzaki wanna give away to me Today i went to Midvalley's Pets Wonderland. I was disappointed with how they house their scorpions... each scorp in a cramped plastic container Should boycott this place.
