Why not try use PC Suite to open the sms in memory card, then forward the sms to you sis h/p (store in phone memory). See whether can send, receive and open it ?

If it works, switch your Messaging back to Phone Memory and try ask your sis to send the sms back to you. Can you open it ?

This is not a solution, but just to try out if it works or not.

if totally block some important view, then is time to change new lcd..

thanks for the suggestions and the video guys. so i asked NCC in One-U and they quote same price also, about RM350+.

i did find a place that sells the housing for RM50. maybe i should try the DIY technic. but i heard there might be some complications due to the camera lens cover is the activation module too

hey guys.. any of u have problem with the new v35 firmware? i got 2 major problems:

1. The Wlan scanning at the active standby screen is missing when i restart.. Needs to restart several times to activate back, but no prob to wlan operational thankfully

2. My calls frequently dropped! Signal not stable and i always got miscall smses due to the network instability!

1. I don't use WiFi scan often, but it does not go missing in mine V35

2. Performance same to me, no drop calls though. Perhaps there's some changes in your area ? Does it happen to you everywhere, or specific location, e.g. inside house.

inside outside house its the same.. Call drops.. Might try hard reset later.. Anybody knows how to hard reset? I mean the 3 finger salute thingy.. Thnx

i think press all these three buttons (call, * , 3) then press on/off button.

by the way I need some question answered here since I changed my LCD screen.

the colour of my screen seems odd...not the colour that I use to see.
the color seems bright but not vibrant.

will n82 dim screen after the display time out or completely off the light?
my display turned completely dark after the timeout ( cannot see the display )
is this normal?

update : the lcd i changed cost RM80 only....which is not original i think. Whats the original n82 lcd cost?

I think the light turns off, in this condition the screen can only be read with a strong source of light and playing with the angles a bit.

cant see anything with any angle.

i think i've got the non ori lcd. which at a cheaper price.

did anyone attempt to change their lcd themself?

btw wats the changes of v35 firmware?
