whether the phone has chinese language or not, depends on it's product code
if the phone is made for Asia Pacific, then it will hv APAC product codes
APAC product codes support Chinese (most of them, if not all..not quite sure coz Asia got a lot of countries)
Europe product codes do not support Chinese
changing product code is possible with the use of NSS
pls refer to the first page for instructions to change product code using NSS

it's actually a chip that locks signal from satellites
there are many applications that can use the GPS feature including Garmin, TomTom etc
not forgetting nokia's own navigation application named Nokia Maps
