umm tat red light seems to be functioning as aided focus in low light?

Well I had the same problem like urs.

but mine is due to falling on the floor...HARD.

a few knockings do the job...but sometimes the problem will come back.

well did u happens to knock it or fall down or strong shaking?

what talking dictionary tat compatibles with n82?
kinda lame for a non talking dictionary in my n82

when i use 5800 with garmin. interface is better with touch screen.
but suffer app hang.

back to my n82....sumthing is not right haha.
Hope can combine these 2 into one package.

i think n82 had reached EOP( end of production).

my fren try to search for a n82 but end up the salesman said no more new n82.

return there and and ask them...

huhu if ur windows is too cluttered....dun do update as it will make ur n82 into "brick".As it happen to me once.

sumthing weird happen to my n82....the date time revert to 2008/1/1 after shutdown and turn on...why is tat so?

I recall only after removing the battery only can have this symtom? but this also means the internal memory of the phone is dead?

this symtom started after I use my n82 as internet modem and trying to backup the things inside using the pcsuite.
in which the phone hangs and after a manual restart the time reset began.

b4 my n82 the 6600 also having the same problem but tat is after getting the battery out.

eheh if not how did the phone store the time and date when u take out ur main battery?

keep it in a pouch often and it should prevent the chrome peel off...i did.

Time reset upon on and off the n82 problem update:

update the firmware 2day hope to solve this problem.
after the update still no hope.still back to 01/01/2008.

the main removable battery still sit inside the body while I switch off and on.

but dunno bout another internal battery.Strange as it should not time reset with the main battery intact.

btw the firmware is now up to V31.0.016

Well mine n82 is not sometimes....it always reset upon on off.
sigh really dunno wat to do now.

also it makes the video recording awsome....

havent try any game tat can make full use of the 3D hW accelerator.If ya got any enlighten me.

but sadly no feature pack 2 for n82 although got such a processing power.

n82 always a good companion in travel etc for me.

the camera is simply irresistable.no need to bring along another camera for the snapping picture purpose.

I think the price will drop but there will be many people looking for it as well.

btw i bot it at RM14xx....ap lagi.

But it was damn nice to have a camera phone by ur side instead of hogging a digital camera all along right?

mine serves me well with all sorts of shots haha.

I pop out the memory without to "safely remove" option haha.

btw an update to the turn off time reset problem of mine:

It seems the problem gone.And I don't know what cause it.
and I don't know what fix it.weird.
Just snap photo/video lately....maybe a fall once a while?
