Hyundai Jalan Ipoh branch let you test drive inside their car park behind, good if you are scare to drive on the road. Anyway, you can test the power of the car going up the car park. But I didn't buy here cos SA very sthingy. Hehe smile.gif

Hi guys,

I own an i10 1.1L year 2011.

I am having a problem with my front brake now, when I step on the brake in low speed I'm hearing some knocking sound from the brake. I've tried to fix it twice, once in Petaling jaya branch, once in Puchong branch and it kept coming back.

Do you guys know any good place to fix it up? Or should I complain to the HQ?

Thanks.

Oh no .. =X

I've made a complaint to HQ and they promise to look into it and solve it within this week. Hopefully they can give me a satisfying answer.

But most importantly is the foreman told me it's only minor defect and has no bearing to the braking power and safety of the car, not sure if it is true. What did your foreman told you about the problem?

Okay thanks bro smile.gif Anyway I knew about our i10 being made locally in Kulim.. but to think the stock rims are JRD doh.gif JRD's are considered the looks-good-but-cheapo-heavy rims. It kinda piss me off knowing that regardless of the fact that they're alloy rims... plus, we couldn't get immobilizer, ESP or similar number of airbags+side airbags sweat.gif

Personal experience: Not easy to achieve 13km/l. Unless you have a light foot. I get around 12.5-13.5. Worse days I get 11-12. But I drive 80-90% highway; this car is more suited for city drive.

I really think european i10 are better equipped to achieve the advertised FC. So if you don't mind investing in energy-saving tyres, lighter rims and whatnot, it will help.

well i have my 2012 FL !.35 High Spec one, Only 300km per full tank, sad.gif 100% city driving though. Sent for first service, notice the car is a bit better are acceleration. but 100% better than Myvi, more solid this one.

Head to your service center and ask them reset something using G-Scan. usually that works (mine happen after 2nd servicing only)

It's kinda dark now, what i did is remove a few more screws including the front bumper plastic screws (there is this weird clips under the headlights which is hard to move without moving the front bumper a bit) I'll take some pic tomorrow morning and update you smile.gif.Which location are you, wanna compare your lightbulbs and mine biggrin.gif

Whoaaa finally! I've managed to fit in the new NB+ bulbs biggrin.gif Whoever said it's easy must have done it a couple of times already sweat.gif What the heck was Hyundai thinking making it that difficult.. btw big thanks for your advise, I removed the bumper screws. Else it would've been harder pulling the headlights out.

I think mine's a bit different.. the screw near the pipe plus the ones near the water bottle-something & the battery are nuts, not screws. These nuts are dang tight, I can't even remove the one near the pipe. Same case for the bumper screws too.. only the top ones are screw-type (supported by plastic, can just pull out), others aren't. Else it would've been much easier sweat.gif

Hit my i10 to the car park wall this morning, no dent but scratches till the paints came off.

Anyone know which services center can do repainting work ?
