prepaid is named for a reason. paid 1st then use. if they dont deduct your credit when you are using. then u keep on using n using... forever no need pay ady lo....

my data usage this month from the iphone is 452MB but my bill stated 574MB.
so i've been charged RM370.
is that accurate??
i'm lot on EDGE. turn on push. rarely utube.
don't know whats wrong..

push is like 'always connected' . off it if possible. you cant argue with them on accuracy, so no choice ..just pay

there is sometime data will be use by your phone...which never been shown on the usage...

technically it's 0.005sen x 74,000kB = RM370
since maxis capped max at RM250, you only pay RM250.

i kena twice for overshooting the quota, and paid 400++ twice ady.
but still sticking with dumb ass maxis. haha.....

then manually go into each of the apps with notifications, disable the push/ alerts / badges.

if you setup a mail account. put the push mail setting on manual.

yes.. it will use up some data.
But it shouldn't be anything to worry off as the amount of data used should be relatively low for openfeint.
It simply post the highscores each time you completed a game.
You should only be worried if you are playing games which only playable while online.

If you are still worried, JB and install SBsettings.. Problem solved!

open frient only be connected if you loggin..just when you start the game..just disconnect from the server...

using maxis line with normal phone... no data or internet connection...

iam got free 3gb for i value2 but if i use sure overlimit...

with iphone iam using DIGI prepaid Broadband rm2 perday... hehehehe
