Just changed to DiGi last week. Took up the unlimited broadband thing, so now I dont even have to worry about being overcharged for data...

good choice. i've always think that unlimited data is the way to go for iphone. seeing how Maxis charges an arm and leg for it. Digi's unlimited data plan is the next best thing since sliced bread.

Talk about Digi, has anyone tried Internet Tethering with the Digi Unlimited Internet plans? How's the speed on EDGE? Since I'm using my 2G iPhone.

I'm currently using internet tethering with Digi 3G unlimited (rm58) to my laptop and download speed is a constant 1mb. Havent test tethering with EDGE yet but from speedtest app result, i can only managed to get around 100kbps to 120kbps download speed. upload speed is awfully slow tho, but its still ok to use with iphone. with laptop, u have to be very patient

for the 1st time i got this from maxis on my 3Gs

u on idata 2 or ivalue plan?...never get that msg from maxis b4 even oredi reach the limit, btw im on idata 1 (250mb)..

well just check with maxis cs..the update on data is only for prepaid not for postpaid...those postpaid have no chance to check currently...

why maxis cant treat everyone the same

thats simply because they can charge the postpaid users as much as they want, but prepaid users can only be charged if they have the balance to do so.
maybe all forumers here can send email to maxis to enable this service and who knows they might consider it.

Tried maxis's one hour pass on my 2g iPhone. not bad.

edge of digi is faster compared to maxis in my area, kuching but the 3g coverage is not there yet... still have lots of rooms for improvement.

I got my Iphone on 1 Feb and sign up iData 2 on the same day. I asked maxis to charge the bill to my credit card every month.

When i got my credit card statement, maxis bill transaction was made on 17 Feb. I'm not sure why, but probably is because my monthly Maxis bill was dated on 14 Feb (for my previous iValue Plus, which i haven't sign up iData last time).

So now, if i want to reset my data usage in my Iphone every month as a starting point to keep track of my data usage, on which date should I reset it? 1 Feb or 17 Feb?

I'm confused because I got my Iphone on 1 Feb and already start using data on 1 Feb. But billing on 17 Feb.

I do that quite often and it depends on location. The highest speed I've achieve thru speedtest.net was around 1.3mpbs

Hi guys...i'm newbies here n iphone beginner.last month i bought iphone 3g prepaid with every month will get 500mb for 12 mnth from maxis center.the 1st mnth was ok.but the problem now i've counter is i cannot access to the internet using my iphone.the popup error is "Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service".
already go to maxis center n they also dun know wat is happening..demm..quit dispointed.they not serius handling this problem la..
