bro i think the signal voltage increase nia ma.. its doesnt improve the performance.. u will hit the limit of your sub sooner nia.. example if without y splitter maybe u hit max spl at 2oclock, with y splitter maybe hit max spl at 10oclock gain..

There is another sub for you guys to consider. Submersive sub had great amp section which is using 1000watts ICE and 2 x 15" driver. It's seal sub so it's more controlled than ported sub. This sub can go down to 10hz and smaller room 8hz.

There been few reviews that owner prefer this sub than SVS PB-13 Ultra. Price is around USD 1800 but it's like getting 2 subs due to dual 15" driver design. And the ICE amplification is not cheap.

actually the submersive cant be shipped directly to asia.. but maybe u can ask jmdibr's to ship to his fren in the states then ship to malaysia.. save u ALOT of tax:) .. from all the reviews it seems that svs ultra is no match n nothing near submersive..

the weakness of submersive is

1)long waiting list, if i remember correctly more than a month wait
2)dont think they will cover shipping cost to malaysia if got faulty parts (though i have nvr seen a thread abt a faulty unit yet)

Can only afford PC-12Plus after smashing all my piggy banks  It is the most expensive item that I ever bought throughout my 17 years in this HT hobby.

All my friends, not only plaster ceiling, your eardrum might as well kena damage. Years of listening in high spl already damage my eardrum. Being to all specialist, the only fault seem to be years of listening in high spl. No joke  brothers.

If you have seen a plaster ceiling before installation, that plaster is around 1cm thick. It is not that fragile as some would think. Rattle i believe it will. Crack? Maybe in some very rare case, I'm lucky mine doesn't even rattle a bit - but on peasant 12Q only.

During renovation I consulted the contractor about the rattling issue, he recommended me to put more aluminum backbone structure - every 30cm apart. It was really a hectic job for them as they need to screw hundreds of screw to secure the plaster tightly.

What I do is ask the contractor to use the thicker frame and use rubbermat for each joint ot reduce metal vibration. Also put the rockwool on top of the plaster ceiling to act as broadband sound trap.
