tested with mpyw... the Y/2 input indeed gain a few more db

bro i think the signal voltage increase nia ma.. its doesnt improve the performance.. u will hit the limit of your sub sooner nia.. example if without y splitter maybe u hit max spl at 2oclock, with y splitter maybe hit max spl at 10oclock gain..

Bros,

Prices for the SVS NSD models from KEC Adephi Singapore for SVS subwoofer. 10% discount for the 2nd batch arriving End Aug/Early Sep 2009

I just ordered myself a SVS PC12-NSD rclxms.gif  Deposit via Money Remittance at Maybank to KEC account.

Respond from KEC . Ms Violet
The prices are as follows:
SVS PC-12NSD & SVS PB-12NSD ---------------- SGD$989 (RM2400) (Include GST 7% Tax & After 10% Disc from $1099)

Deposit is 30% of SGD$989 so we would just need you to pay a deposit of SGD$289. (Rm700)

Yeah, it's also to even out the bass. Another one is the Behringer Feedback Destroyer.

Even the SVS model is developed by Audyssey and they have their own Audyssey Sub Equalizer.

antimode so much cheaper and can easily go through the customs with its inexpensive look

baru read what can svs eq1 do.. looks like its not for tweak freaks too...

Since it's kind of small company, maybe Mark can put in lower invoice value for shipment then you should pay almost the same price Ultra-13.
*
actually the submersive cant be shipped directly to asia.. but maybe u can ask jmdibr's to ship to his fren in the states then ship to malaysia.. save u ALOT of tax:) .. from all the reviews it seems that svs ultra is no match n nothing near submersive..

the weakness of submersive is

1)long waiting list, if i remember correctly more than a month wait
2)dont think they will cover shipping cost to malaysia if got faulty parts (though i have nvr seen a thread abt a faulty unit yet)

Oh, Submersive can't be shipped to Asia? Anyway, even shipping within USA is USD115-135. So gotta pay that extra if go through jmdibr's friend. Hopefully will be offset by some tax savings.
*
the last time i read .. 4got when but i remember that time he doesnt ships outside america n canada.. wah i think u all really kena poison deep deep liao.. lately all only care abt PERFORMANCE.. price n warranty belakang kira:)

Remember the Paradigm Sub25 that was mentioned before? A real monster of a sub, with a US RRP of $3999. You would imagine the local price would be like 15k or something like that.

Well, it's 'only' 11k smile.gif See: http://technu.nst.com.my/Current_News/tech...icle/index_html

So for those whose budget reaches 5 figures (not me sad.gif) this is another one to consider apart from the JL Fathoms and Submersive.
*
Stop it!.. pls stop it.. u all have gone crazy.. everyday got ppl intro not high end but the highest end subwoofers here heheh...

jchong, Paradigm is one of the few companies that SVS has a high respect for its products. Its Servo 15 was in my 'wishlist'. Too bad that it is no longer in production and the price tag was beyond my reach. Can only afford PC-12Plus after smashing all my piggy banks  sweat.gif It is the most expensive item that I ever bought throughout my 17 years in this HT hobby.
*
bro if u check all the forums svs has high respect for many audio co smile.gif.. except hsu

Hopefully.

Next aim (if everything goes as planned), it would be PB13Ultra / PC-13ultra. Most likely PB. Unless, I have a bigger room for PC. Obviously, I do not have one  sad.gif

Then, Klipsch RF-83, RC-64, RS-62 plus multi-channel power amp along with JVC D-ILA projector wub.gif .

Bro, I believe that there will be certain freq that can crack / damage things. Just like the glass breaking theory by using vocal.

Like soldiers doing a marching crossing a bridge. A continous and uniformity march will create certain frequency that can actually bring down the bridge. No joke. Someone told me this. That's the reason that they don't march across the bridge.
*
it happened b4 during war.. the whole bridge went break dancing.. but the thing is has any1 here actually had a broken plaster ceiling.. coz my friend who claimed to kena is a tu kau beng.. not sure if he is lying or not..

Yeah, this is true. Prolonged exposure to high SPL can damage your hearing. That's why overseas you see those workers who are working in loud environments wearing earmuffs or earplugs (OSH requirements).

On the issue of sub cracking the plaster ceiling, in theory it could happen. But must be quite insane SPL I think. Do you listen at those levels?
*
i dont listen to insane levels .. just wanna make sure.. if there is really no reported case here then i will just leave the plaster ceiling in my ht room.. the plaster ceiling was built coz the builder made a mistake.. i actually told him no ceiling yet for the ht room

if no reported case here i am quite likely to be safe as i am sure there r quite a few sick fellas who listen to insane levels:)
