Hi, does anyone experience unstable network signal? Mine one always swapping between HSPD, 3G and EDGE. Signal strength is also unstable, sometime no bar at all. I'm using Maxis but I dun have such signal problem with other phone, at same area.

Now hoping the ROM and Radio of Win 6.5 upgrade will help. Anyone care to share their experience? My radio version is 3.44.25.27, ROM is 1.40.707.1.

A bit regret to have bought this phone.....

I've been having problem with Maxis recently as well, after EXTREMELY HEAVY bouts of data usage, the reception just DIES. Or I loose data traffic. Since everything was working fine until recently I'd sooner blame Maxis than the phone, it's not like they haven't screwed up before tongue.gif

there is a better radio version for SEA.. go HTC website download.. its to "save " battery.. my radio version is 4.47.25.09

very stable network.. but i disable 3g tho.. if on 3g.. my area has hsdpa, so it will alwiz be hsdpa.. no alternating changes..

i recommend disable 3g.. save tons on battery n also more stable (in ur case)

Hi guys.. I had this HTC touch diamond 2 at 3weeks ago and this is my first window mobile in my life. this phone is just awesome regardless of appearance and function.

I am still try to explore everythin about this phone however I would like to ask Is anyone could help me on theme configuration.

I am using Sony Ericsson previously and that allowed me to change any theme that I have but as for now my HTC TD2 isn't easy like what I did at my Sony Ericsson before.

I do copied a software called "TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7.CAB" from my friend (he is using Diamond Touch Pro) but this is not working for my HTC TD2.

Is any Sifu(s) here can guide me how to install and apply the theme to my HTC TD2?

Thank you very much =) and appreciate if you guys can help me...

I off and on from settings after waiting a while it'll come back. Ask around your friends who use Maxis and see. I think you need to be a data user to experience it. Cause all those I talk to all use data a lot.

Its ok man. I had a choice to choose between omnia 2 or TD 2. I picked HTC cos i love the Touch Flo. Hehe. But no doubt the Omnia 2 has improved alot from Omnia 1. Will samsung be giving a update to WM 6.5?

there are news stated that TD2 & TP2 will be getting WM6.5 upgrade but just an improved version of TouchFLO3D 2.0. TF3D 2.5 not included. and for your info, MS will be releasing WM6.5.1 and we wont be getting it.

sigh

Omnia SGH-i900 = No
Omnia II GT-i8000 = Yes

A list of devices getting the WM6.5 update is HERE.

i read it from http://pocketnow.com/software-1/htc-touch-...grade-available

as for WM6.5.1, it is not confirm. based on the product specs, HTC TD2 only support free upgrade to WM6.5 and bare in mind that WM6.5 is different compared to WM6.5.1

There is a cooked ROM out there with WM6.5.1 that looks really nice & cool. i've personally tried it myself but sad to say...it is very buggy. cant sync contacts/email, and phone freeze when changing setting from USB-Sync to USB-File Transfer.

anyway, take a look at it. really nice http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=526618
