can. U need to create the following folders /Storage Card (obviously)/My Documents/My Ringtones. Place em there. check and see your phone shud detect em

choose your contact, and u can set ringtones on each individually

I agree with the previous posters. Really need to consider a nice type of case/protector for this phone. I find the phone a little too slippery.

non rubberised plastic casings are always like that. i myself use Golla pouch, cuz of my extended battery

How do I install microsoft .net framework 3.5 on the phone? Itching to try out the lightsaber program. I've downloaded the MSI file but unsure of what to do next.

UPDATE: Oops. I missed out a paragraph when reading the instructions. Just need to connect to the Mobile Device center, and run the msi. Duh.

Just got my new diamond2 on friday. am very happy with it .
i got 2 question that hope you guys can help, as i am new in using pda phone.

1) i am using mapking, it happen a few times which the gps cannot connect and I have to do a soft reset then it only works back. Why is it so?

2) can send and type chinese for sms.

1. recommed you Garmin as i do not encounter problems like your mapking.

1) hv you done updating ur GPS satellite data? try update your QuickGPS see how's it goes.
2) Chinese Input CE-Star (doenst include TD2) / or ZTA4 Freeware. google it....

Diamond 2 already has chinese input preinstalled, no need to find chinese star unless you need hand writing input.

I just received my Proporta's Aluminium Lined Leather Case (Flip-top) yesterday.

hmm... the quality of this proporta case is good but a little bulky. Anyway, after using it for one day, I am quite happy with it

Nice casing, safe when drop but just don't like the bulkiness....

I just bought TD2 yesterday and today had to sent it back for repair.. it looks like manufacturing defect.. there was a kind of liquid appearing in the middle of the screen and i suspected it was the screen protector but after i remove it, it was still there and i realize tat it was the screen, so unlucky with first HTC product... never expected tis problem for such an expensive product.. have any 1 experience this problem?

what? i think you can get 1 on 1 exchange as you just bought ysterday. why still have to send for repair?

within 24 hours should get 1 to 1 replacement unless it didn't show when you are at the shop.

I called up sis service center and the told me to bring down to their place for repair but then when i brought back to the shop that i bought they just gave me a new set.. i guess u can get a 1 to 1 exchange if its within 14 days from the day u purchase the product... but i found out that quite some ppl having the same problem as mine in other forums... is the screen so fragile? or izzit because its the 1st batch? at first i could see a small oily round circle at the down part of my screen, after few hours it became worse, it became bigger and it covered almost the whole middle of the screen.. the touch screen works but not that sensitive anymore.. so if any1 having similar scenario, try taking out ur screen protector n check whether it the screen or screen protector..

how to see flash? any software?

Ours is smartphone rite? I try install flashrite 2.1 from adobe for smartphone but is not working. My friend, N82 can see flash...

Do you guys do any maintenance for the phone? Ie. wipe it with something?

Also, you guys able to get the Pocket UFO game to run on your device? Mines just crash on startup and it'll dump me back to Today screen.

try install Flash Lite 3.1.. or u can use Skyfire browser for full flash view for any site

hv u try free up all your memory? close all unecessary applications? or can can try close your TFlo then play? according to baronic's blog could be due to not enough memory then crashed.
