^ Er... just out of curiosity... How come you buy D2 when ur wishlist is N97 ar? hehe

I also struggle between tis two as N97 have better camera & video feature plus much bigger disk space, last for all lower price!.. still D2 win over me for their GUI. =)
*
well, i guess N97 will have to wait since it screen resolution is lower than TD2, and also the weight of N97 is too heavy....smile.gif

normally it's the wireless modem problem whenever your phone or laptop cannot connect.

Whenever you try to run an new unsigned program on your phone, it'll ask you if you want to do it, just don't run anything you are not sure of.

That WakeUpOnSMS thing seems to be one of the last bugs they need to iron out. It's been there for a while, I don't know while HTC chooses to disable WakeUpOnSMS since it never works properly anyway.

from my years of experience, no virus problem encouter, better than nokia symbian as there is spam virus program whereby it will random send bluetooth message to another symbian phone and the other end user accepted the bluetooth message....then virus attack and your symbian phone will be infected.

i would prefer this way as in order to preserve battery life, sometime i do not immediately see my sms and sometimes in the middle of the night where i don't answer my sms.....actually a good move by HTC.

While that is true, the tradeoff now is that users aren't getting messages delivered to them on time which is worse than losing a few minutes of battery life. Unless you tell me you set your phone to not sleep on battery power.

mine is always in the pouch so vibrate and sms tone let me know when there is a sms/mms coming in.

OMG!!! ohmy.gif ....my TD2 have such problem too. A circle of oily stained like patch. But it goes away later. I thought it's normal. Are you sure it's manufacturing defect?  But mine is 1 month old adi blink.gif ... Wat should i do now??? cry.gif
*
Are you sure it goes away? Because the oil patch is visible only under certain lights clearly, under normal room light u barely can even see it.. If im not mistaken it's something related digitizer problem, but im not so sure bout it.. Just bring it to sis...
