bro.. you mean the forte using Kia badge? confirm??
what i see from the Kia SA photo... is Kia badge..
but it will be change to Naza badge... because is officially announce the coming forte called Naza Forte instead of Kia Forte..
however we do can ask the SA to change it back to Kia.

Forte is sedan, 308 is hatch.
Both oso hot.

Forte somehow is like a mini-Civic (80% of it's size, price, performance and etc ?)

getting a forte will save you 10K compared to 308.

but it boils down to preference.

I would drive the forte and my wife the 308...
if 308GT, i drive myself.

Added on November 1, 2009, 6:45 amhope the make many aftermarket toys for the FORTE...nice base car for tuning and styling.

The Forte is pretty much similar in size to the Civic, albeit with a larger boot. In fact, the Civic's hatch-sized boot space is pathetic compared to other C-segment rival sedans.

Can't really compare the 308 to the Forte since it's still a continental car hence the higher price. For what it's worth, the 308's price highlights how expensive the Civic (and other CBU Japanese cars) is.

the brochure is very small... i can't really see it...
but looks ugly tho...
second link mentioned price is below RM90k... hmm...
sounds good...

larkowen & thechallenger..
i did a size comparison before with civic head to head...
forte is slightly bigger than civic... slightly..

if you wanna check the after market toy for forte.. don't worry...
i think any car launch in china you will find alot of after market toy..
china purchase power can make different and Forte already launched in china.

We can clearly see Naza/Kia's intentions here - It's aiming to bring down the similarly priced City, and at the same time highlight how much more one has to pay for the Civic.

Nevertheless, the 4-speed auto box looks bad alongside the Civic's 5-speed paddle shift unit... dry.gif
