holy smokes.. i've been playing RE5 demo recently, but never encounter any bugs @ dark screens.. ooo trust me, i'm going to delete the demo right away!

Guys I wanna get some advice from ya'all...

Bought my ps3 not even a week....when I bought my SFIV I insert cd it didn't autoload...I was wondering weird since its working fine few days back....nvm...

Then loading it hangs...all black screen shows nothing....nvm I thought PS3 hangs once in awhile...

Yesterday night play Gundam dynasty warrior demo then finish playing I wanna quit to XMB menu....quit already then hang....black screen again...

I'm really worried now....does it happen to you guys before? these frequent crashes n' all....

since all this while u hang. i m guessing is ur Hard disk faulty.. my suggestion. go to the shop and get a replacement... ASAP!

How sure is hard disk faulty? so far only happen twice lar...but was wondering issit normal to have this once-in-a-while crashes?

Or shuld I take it back to Sony and get them look into this matter?

Will they strip the whole thing up? still virgin leh...

i was facing the same problem when i play devil may cry 4 demo last time, it just hang suddenly and need to restart my ps3, luckily i didnt get hit by YLOD, since this case i never play download game anymore. just wonder ps3 will got this kind of problem when playing demo game?? bro, ur console is 80gb singapore set?

40GB SG Set...

mine is 40gb sg set too, i heard that ppl saying 40gb ps3 is more stable than others? u just bought this 40gb? wonder if this still 40gb sg set still availble in market, many of my frens looking for 40gb too.

3 days to one year then it YLOD...
i played the ps3 in aircond room one...
should be not heating problem...

ps3 should be no heating problem even if we are playing it in a non air-cond environment. hope u will get ur ps3 back soon

mine also YLOD last week, genap 2 tahun.
always in cool room, suddenly shut-off while playing fifa 09 (less than 10 minutes).

mine is 60GB HK. now waiting to see if can revive.

PS3 kena lighting strike......
Controller can't connect back, ethernet port not working, wifi not working.


Changed the Hard disk
Reset the controller with the usb cable connect to ps3
ethernet port back to normal
wifi not yet test.

I guess its not caused by lens nor overheating problem..like mine also without warning suddenly shut-off by itself

but thank God its ok now..don't know why either, maybe cos I'm playing RE5 demo?
