it doesn't happen all the time.

on my end it happens when i was going into the option menu to change the ctrl setting to RE4 setting..but suddenly the option screen got blurred...and there's the status marker on the top right for a very long time. Even the PS button didn't do anything.

but after that, i just shuts it down by pressing the power button. Luckily it's running ok after that.

on a side note, i was dloading God Of War 3 on the psn at the same time.

Makes wanna delete the re5 demo now...

haha..i was thinking the same thing too after knowing someone got ylod from it..scary man!!!

gonna delete it too.. have enough of co op

if power supply and lens problem, normally local shop can repair, u can try bernard...
if motherboard problem, i think need send back to the sony...

got my lens repaired in Bernard's shop. i was standing beside Bernard and watching him repair it. no problem until now.. so far..

heard someone said he does repair ylod, only with general repairs, if mobo problem. sorry lo.. i think need to get a new set.

spent 3 hrs to get to his shop from melaka, 3 hrs at his place, lunch, repair, testing, waiting for bus home and another 3 hrs to reach my house

carrying a 5kg++ machine with backpack is not fun and tiring..

Carrying a 5kg+ backpack is like school all over again... Bad memories. Maybe you can enter a marathon or something, all the participants need to carry PS3 in their backpack. Sure win punya.

And what happened to the old lens? Thinking of giving it a whack with a hammer or putting it in a blender

very fast.. around 15 minutes to change a lens.

the old lens he gave me back.. i took it apart to investigate it and do some short analysis.. the analysis is within this thread itself..

bro, ur case is just like my case, carring the ps3 in a backpack.. its a ton! got 3.5 hours journey from pahang then another 3.5 hours to get back home.. fuuhh...
