YLOD survivors usually can last awhile (not like RROD, 1 day can kena again ), but risky.

Some people fix, 1 year also can tahan, but they don't play much

omg at first i'm happy that my console being fixed, but then the most i can enjoy is less than 1 year?

In 1 year, you can get your family addicted on PS3.

That way, if YLOD again, they will buy new one

previously i dont care about those YLOD issue, coz i have full confident on sony product (my ps1 and ps2 still playable until now). After i kena, and when i search through all those forums, reading on those victims experience, now i know how frustration when you're really in that position...

To those still yet to experience YLOD issue, i sincerely hope that your console can last as long as possible, and enjoy your gaming time as much as you can

Prove it ..and guess what there's a way to reverse the FW and save the machine. Currently its on experimental..

my proof? YLOD is a problem waaay before 3.00

my 40gb ps3 fan always kick in full speed after playing like 30min is this normal or a sign that YLOD could hit me

errr..its normal no worries...its aint normal if ur ps3 fan run at highspeed while duin nutin...

yesterday i also noticed the fan kick in high speed when i left the console on just for downloading DLC

Open it and remove the dust.

Inside got a lot of dust.

When I first opened my PS3, I thought got squirrel die inside
