nothing can really last for lifetime, as long as it can serve u 2-3 years then it is very fine
although sayang sikit for those spent rm3k for launch unit

YLOD is a GENERAL error.

It may be cause by
1)hardware
2)software

As simple as that. People has been complaining about firmwares since forever.
where were you that time?

Maybe because Liverpool lost last nite, thats why..

As firmware update comes, PS3 also gets older.

YLOD can happen to any PS3. Got friend with FW1.XX (never update) who YLOD also
