My lens is officially dead. tried the setting thingy but still no luck. Haven't played any pirated dvd. I do read in some forum it said sooner or later ur lens will died. My ps3 is only 3 month old. Luckily i know how to change the lens myself, so save a few buck there. Now waiting for the lens. hopefully the problem solved when i change the lens.

Maybe its a 20GB/60GB model, and its already passed the 1 year warranty period.

Me already 3rd time buy PS3.. never have lens problem..
 ... 1st one 20g Japanese Version, 2nd one 40g Asian Version & 3rd one 80g US..hmm now miss only EU version... ...... ... |

as wat i know this lens problem is by chance is it... or is there any firm factor that will give this problem.... i do have plan to get a ps3 so might as wel to know any thing like if this baby also need extra love like its competitors.... so some preparation can be done.. hehehehe

haha.. cant say la... it depend on your luck & how u using PS3... ( like 3rod la..). but lens ps3 kong very rare... like 1:500.... maybe...
... so hope u not the unlucky one...  .. anyway dont worry just buy la.. now time for MGS4... |
