I would like to enquire about the myvi highbeam light.

Whan I use the low beam light is normal and bright and very little shadow.

I notice that when I switch over to the H (High) there are many dark shadows nearer to the cars and the beam is less bright but shine further.

I need to switch on the fog lamp to compensate for the darknest.

Is this normal for the myvi?

what has to do with the immobiliser related to locking & unlocking door?
i thought the immobiliser is the chipset inside the car key and when the detector detect the paired car key only can start the engine no?

His/her car's immobilizer got sound one. May be is custom made .

how about the alarm sounds when locking / unlocking doors ?

because a forumer at Saga BLM thread mentioned that the alarm sound can be activate and deactivate by pressing 2 buttons together.

I am surprise why new myvi doesn't have the sound when locking/unlocking the doors.

hmm never know there's any sound for lock & unlock the car
perhaps any sifu here can tell us about this....and never try the method u mentioned before

I cant found the method that you mentioned in manual book. Besides there is no buzzer for our stock alarm because if it really does have, why SC and accessories shop provide service installing the buzzer? Conclusion, there is no way to activate/deactivate the alarm sound.

anyone done air-con service for their myvi b4? my car already 3 years++ and going to hit 40k mileage d. is it about time to service the air-con already rite? and i heard the myth that the dashboard need to disassembled b4 service, izit true? btw, the battery also need to chg d rite? many of my fren also suprised why my battery can last so long, new car till now....

I thought thats the function of high beam? To shine further? NO?

Myvi does not have a buzzer. If u notice even the alarm is sounded by the horn.

Guys, just want to ask:
Anybody experience a lot of harshness & noise from front tyres/suspension? My sis' car about 3 years already always serviced in Perodua. Ask them to check, they said normal. Checked with tyre shop guys, they said it is becos the tyres Perodua provided is too hard & poor quality.

Just got my car few days back. One thing I notice is the steering. It's very sensitive imo.

Is it just me or you guys do feel the same that the steering is very light and sensitive, move abit then the wheel moves.

depends what car u drive previously.. to compare..
it is a bit sensitive for me..just got care few days also..

anyway anyone of you did vkool elite tint for myvi? may i know how much u guys did? i got quotation RM1600 from vkool shop then i got from car accesories shop they say RM1300..
issit safe to do it in car accesorries shop?

its normal. you can hold the handle to a certain degree and it will light up both low beam and high beam together.

pull the handle until high beam lights up then slowly release until low beam illuminates. not recommended for long term driving though as i'm worried that it might overheat the wiring or the lamp holder.

Yup. Stock tyre are very harsh and noisy.

In my opinion, it is not worth to tint so EXPENSIVE tint because i get to know mYvi front and rear glass easy crack. For my case, 1week the car OTR windscreen already crack cz hit by stone @ PLUS. Besides, some of forumers' glass sudden crack after park their car under HOT sun. So you can think twice is it worth to tint so EXPENSIVE tint? Decision still on your hand.


The stabilizer bar(a.k.a Front Sturt Bar) really can improve the corner handling. It cost RM130 include labor charge and the brand is Ultra Racing. But what i can feel is the steering is not that light as before installing the bar. It needs alot energy to steer the steering. I'm not sure others also feeling the same. This coming weekend will install Anti Rolling Bar (ARB).
