1. All the while I send my MyVi 2006 to authorised perodua service center for service. If i take it to non-authorised perodua service center like fasfik, lim tayar, etc for service then will the warranty be void?
2. How many KM can a timing belf last? Mine is a stocked car without any modification.
3. Will it be cheaper if I buy my own brake pad and take it to the service center for the mechanic to change?
4. My tyres left 10% flower. I wonder which brand of tyres are good. Thought of changing it to 185/60/R14. I do not want to use back the same Good Year NCT5 which came with my MyVi since I bought it.
5. My car need engine oil change already. I wonder those non-authorised perodua service center will do the changing accordingly or not. Because the authorised perodua service center will advise you that you need to change spark plug for this time of service.
6. Will it be cheaper if you buy your own engine oil and bring it to the service center?
Thanks for you reply or feedback.
Hahaha... The car i am driving is almost the same year as yours.. Let me share with you my own experience.
1. As soon as the warranty is up, i never turn my head back to SC. The simplest reason being the long Q and the inefficient of their problem finding skills.
2. Safe side 70K.
3. It will be cheaper if you just changed it outsite all the way. SC charge me RM40, shop outsite charge RM20 only. If i help a bit, charge RM10 only.
4. This one i really admire you man...10% of thread only? Just be careful your tire won't burst la... You can actually go for 185/65/14, i like thicker tire...better bump. On the rubber brand, choose one between your budget and your driving style la. Michelin PP2 and Falken 912 always pop up. Do check out more.
5. Most of the time, i keep track of my own service...this way you will know what to change for the next service.
6. Cheaper if you just changed it outside.
If you stay near Sri Kembangan area, i can recommend you one.
