Air filter might but not much... Do Cold Air Intake (CAI), it works miracle... especially if you are on auto. LYN Myvi Owner Thread V15, It's A Passion

QUOTE(mastering89 @ Nov 14 2009, 06:33 PM) sry to ask this noob question... The button is used for turning off the overdrive function, in simpler word, pressing it will 'drop' the gear so you gain acceleration at a lower geari juz got my car for 2 weeks n juz noticed at gear (AT) got 1 button... wat is it for actually?? NOS sry ask stupid question... havent got time open manuals QUOTE In simple terms, overdrive is like a fourth gear. When you turn it off, then there are only 3. There are some situations (like towing or going up a gradual incline) that the car should automatically downshift but it does not. For normal driving, it is recommended that you leave the transmission in over-drive mode. This will result in the best fuel economy. It is also worth noting that when the vehicle is started, the overdrive is turned on automatically. |

i think the overdrive is useless for my vivi, cause when i press a lil hard on the accelerator then the gear will automatically drop to a lower gear to gain pick up. especially on 4th gear, it will drop to 3rd gear automatically if it sense my heavy right foot.

Hi all,
I have just booked a Myvi last week. I have decided to trade in my old Kancil and the remaining amount pay in cash. The Perodua salesman told me that the car can be ready to be collected by end of next week. However, I need to pay him in full amount in order for them to be able to register the car with JPJ tomorrow and collect it by end of the week. I am quite curious as I thought I have paid the deposit (the car grant is with Perodua) approx RM5K. Logically, I should pay the amount in full only when I receive the new car, isn't it? But the salesman told me that we have to pay in full, just in case after they register the car under our name, we ffk them. Then, they have to absorb new car cost. Is there such rules/regulations? Hopefully, experts here can provide me with some suggestion |

that hole is actually a bit too small
if you routed it to the bumper you'll get better performance i did the same mod a long time ago and posted it as a DIY http://myvi.com.my/forum/index.php?topic=1058.0 |

I just do not feel comfortable by paying the amount in full but unable to get the car on the spot.Added on November 15, 2009, 11:38 pm QUOTE(mastering89 @ Nov 15 2009, 10:39 PM) Does it make a different if I take different model? Banged an accident yesterday, careless mistake sigh..
![]() anyone know how much would it cost to fix the dent, and also re-spray it? Btw, the driver door, when I open the door, i heard a sound "krak". It's like as if, smtg were out of shape (door), everytime i close the door, n open again, i hear the krak sound. Anyone know why, and how much would it cost me to fix it? |
